Mate, thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos. I'm recovering from an horrendous car crash, and this has become my favourite TV show! I've turned on all my fellow petrol heads to the joys of your channel, just keep up the good work, and if I can, I'll come up to your track day , and thank you in person..!!
The blue engine you are leaning on at 9:03. Looks like the 2.0 that came in the USA mercury Capri. A friend of mine had one. A great little engine. Ford took that basic design & made the Lima 2.3. That was used in anything from the American Pinto to the ford ranger pickup truck. The Lima 2.3 was also the engine for the Merkur xr4ti turbo for America similar car as the Searra that you have in the UK. If you look up Esslinger engineering. You will see they make all kinds of high-performance parts for them. Including blocks custom heads for racing. I wonder if they could cast 200 & 205 blocks.
2:30 I agree 100%!!!!! Inside out things WILL get you and cause confusion/mayhem/accident sooner or later!! Better change it right now before driving it again!!
Turn that gear selector linkage downside up so it's on the top, not the bottom. . Common mistake that puts the gear selection upside down. 18° in Scotland today. FU PAH!😂
Hi Lee thanks for the discount code, Pouch, got some good saveing from national tyres, 50% off tracking when buying 4 tyres and some discount off the tyres as well.
Can't you change your gear shift at the front end? If the cable joins below the gear stick pivot, then join it above the pivot - and vice versa if it's the opposite way round.
UA-cam tip: When you discuss the kit car, mention what engine and drivetrain it has, I have been watching and waiting for you to mention the engine but I always miss it. I watch almost every episode. Is it a secret?
Them Evo2 wings are big bucks and rare your putting them on a race car. I can’t see you driving it at 30 round a track , BTC racing is not supposed to be contact racing but what if you bend this BMW it won’t look pretty then !!!!!!
As you touch the handle it blips the egine and no cluch. VERY FAST changing!! Then its only on into 1st, taking off or 2nd to stop you'll use it again 😜 Sorry I planted that little worm in your head. This was first one popped up and they seem to make for ages and many many bike motors.. Crikey, your machine shop is become a health and safety hazard, with boxes strewn over the floor. You could build or invest in some metal racking, or convert that mezzanine area into a proper parts storage room.
There was John, fettling his Austin 7, and you didn't feature him! What were you thinking? The best car and best engine in your workshop, and you ignore him. Never mind all these Subarus and Cosworths. Lets have more action on John's Austin!

Just rotate where the shifter attaches onto the gearbox shaft, this will change the lever action.

Thanks Issac for the brilliant camera work, yes Lee I’m having a dig at you😂🇦🇺
I'm sure that they do a reverse cam plate that fits in the gearbox. Fairly simple job.
Lee put a air shifter on kit or electric shift. Shift the gear with buttons.
... or even paddles ... ?
Those wings are a sign from God to paint it red as I always wanted 😀
11:40 knowing an Andy sounds handy…
👍👍
The RECARO Pro Racer SPG seats look a bit tasty!
Close the door to the machine shop.
Additional sign needed over the business 'The Barum Boys Toystore' ... ! 😂
One of my tractors had a reverse hand throttle, not good for start up.....

It’s a Honda Blackbird engine after recent transplant, formerly a Fireblade engine.
@@greyhorse1211 Thank You!
Why are the dash air vents just for show? as you will need some air to get in, especially when in the wet, as the screen and glass will mist up
Heated screen 👌🏼👍🏼

You can still use e30 front wishbones.. it was a common upgrade on e36's as the ball joints are mounted in rubber. E30 aint
