When you build a house like that and leave it, rainfall will harden the concrete to toughness. The longer it stays without a roof in the rain. The tougher the concrete gets.🇯🇲

The homes like that have been destroyed by hurricanes, ect. I was re-building 1 in St Croix, cutting in a Cathedrial roof and it collapsed, i fell 30'. Needless to say, 3 days ICU, 2 weeks in a PRican hospital.

There many abandoned houses in Montego Bay, Jamaica, that look like they were started but not completed, just like in Dominica. Our guide told us that the process of getting building materials, permits, labor, etc. was rife with corruption and brides that, eventually, caused the owners to run out of money. Now they're homes for squatters.
That place looks amazing. Could a person in a wheelchair get around easily???? Super curious when it comes to small islands is all. Dominica looks great
