* Start terraforming AFTER your claim dries, otherwise you'll stand out on the map and risk being seen before your base is secure. I'd also suggest staying in a cave until you have enough resources for a palisade and building it with as little map disturbance as possible! Oh and make sure to always use visitor gates; only make normal gates when making a safe-pali and you know what you're doing. Also sealing the corners doesn't matter anymore, that was fixed.
WDYM are there a lot of just a-holes who murder noobs for no reason? Also it is only relevant on launch of new world and within two first months of that?
@@xezzee There are people who raid for sport. They won't knock you out on first week because of the learning point costs, but after that its untill the world dies and it starts again on the next world.
wow this brings back memories....love the concept of the game but unless you start and join an established group you're going to get griefed hard within days. Wonder if it's still plagued with Russian hackers
Solo play sounds like fun as first play trough. Hard part is sweet talking my friends to join me. Wife probably has no choice but to try it and one friend downloaded H&H from Steam which is nice.
@@xezzee I had a lot of fun when I first played it, built up a small base for myself, tamed animals and got to metal age etc. Then got raided/spawn camped constantly XD
@@jhentsang9605 I had to reset progression as I linked Steam Account to my old H&H account but that is fine as I'm planning to reset it either way. On second character I found out if you sleep before burning alive it resets your progression 🙀 wasted 30 minutes messing around ... twice ... I Fished Duck and Pelican and build myself a claim within 5 hours and went sleep irl 😅 I like H&H but I hate how addictive games are for me a 5 minute session turned in to 5 hours and I had to stop at 1am 😓 I now have few goals which include getting fully clothed and taming a horse within same life which includes a safe house. I don't mind getting killed and spawn camped as I can just come back later ❤ Checking old account last I played was 2016 and first I played was 2013 :D so much has chanced what I remember

i have 70 ua and 60 agi and still strugle with the bats lol after some update they are the same q as my survival
Just get a shield and use the right combat moves to lower your openings.
