@lilcl98 When the door is locked shut like that it can be pretty hard to do sometimes. You have to make sure all of the screws have been removed and them you might be able to get the panel off. If you can't a local auto body shop should be able to do this for you.
@srt41320 We currently do not have an auto repair video on this particular repair. However once you remove the door panel, tape the window in the up position with painters tape, and then remove the bolts that hold the window regulator to the glass. You should then be able to remove the window regulator from the door. Hope this helps you out.
ill do that. thanks for the help. your videos have helped me out alot.
Wow this was so helpfull!
@lilcl98 You may want to take the door panel off and see if it has become disconnected from the rod that unlocks the door.
Make sure to let people know that when you disconnect that battery, your radio is going to go into antitheft mode and you’re gonna need to put it on a battery charger for two hours on accessories only to input a code to unlock it
thank you man
do you guys have a video that shows how to remove the window regulator?
Great video. Thank you.
Where can I get a replacement panel.
i was wondering if there was a video to replace the window motor i cant find anything
+Joey Pariseau Thank you for checking us out. At this time we do not offer a video showing the replacement of the window motor. We recommend continuing searching through UA-cam for a replacement video. 1aauto.com
the 850 door panel was SO much more robust - no 'clips' they were screws instead.. as these cars age, you'll break EVERY 'clip' taking the panel off now. and the panel itself is plastic vs. the particle board type of the 850 so you'll most def crack the door panel too. unless you're having a window motor issue, i wouldn't bother taking the door panel off on these cars. aint worth breaking it!
Welp, my door panel fell apart
A very late comment. Please fit the battery retainer clip!
