Thanks for your comment. Would you mind explaining what you mean by 'putting out a feast for the butterflies to enjoy'? The butterfly food there is put by the airport staff 😊
Who knew butterflies sleep at night? My first 2 visits here on my way to South Africa was at night....no butterflies. Then 4 years ago I actually got to see them as I was there in the daylight, stunning butterflies. Singapore you are brilliant.
Thank you very much Chen for your deep dive walk and tour of the Butterfly Garden at Changi Airport! Much appreciated mate! So many varieties of butterflies! 🇸🇬👍😁
Thanks Jeremy for your wonderful comment. I made this video while on the way to Bangkok. Will be there for 2 weeks followed by another 3 weeks from late August.
Yes Jim, I was surprised to find this Butterfly Garden at the airport. A nice touch by the airport. I have spent 2 weeks in Bangkok already. Finding time to edit and share.
*I visited once at Changi Airport, but there weren't many butterflies. But I see a lot of butterflies in today's video. It's a really cool video.💖👍👍👍23*
Butterfly Garden is inside the T3 transit area. I don’t know how to travel from T4 transit area to T3 transit area. If you get out from T4 transit area to the public area, you need to reenter at T3 transit
What if they fly away, or flew into the traveler's backpack and arrived in another country, became invasive species? I mean, how do the airport make sure it won't happen?
When you arrive at Changi, you need to stay within the transit area. Take internal skytrain to Terminal 2 to visit the Butterfly Garden. Butterflies are active between 8am to 5pm. They go to rest after 5pm. This means that you need to visit this garden before going through immigration and retrieve your luggage. It is best to visit this garden when you are departing from Singapore 😊
Entrance is free but is located inside the checked-in area of Terminal 3. Passengers from Terminals 1 & 2 can access via the internal Sky-Trains. It is not accessible to the general public. The butterflies are active between 8am to 5am.
Hi, my friend from Japan. This is a beautiful butterfly garden at the the airport, with a mini waterfall too. I don't know about the heat source, I think they control the temperature through the air conditioning. Have you seen the Jewel at Changi Airport? It's beautiful with plenty of trees and greenery indoors. There's also the 'Cloud Forest' and 'Flower Dome' at the Gardens By The Bay. Thanks for watching.

Thank you my friend. I had been busy with short term work in Bangkok. Will upload some videos taken there.
You have a fantastic eye for things and I'm always looking forward to your new videos. Thanks for this!
Thank you Heman. I have bought a new Pocket 2 to replace the one that was water-damaged. I'm happily travelling and filming again. Haha.
The butterfly garden is wonderful!
It is wonderful. I enjoyed visiting and filming it.

Thank you so much for uploading the video. My friend!!
Thanks for your support my friend.
That looks like a perfect place to spend some time while waiting for a flight - much better than spending money in the duty-free stores!

The butterflies are not active after 5pm. Perhaps you went at the wrong timing.
Wa so pretty! Thanks for the idea! Will be going overseas soon and will see if can catch this at the airport
These butterflies seems to be not afraid of people. The butterflies are active between 8 to 5pm. If you go at other times, they will be sleeping.
So amazing and fun
...and in the airport too. Visitors to Singapore can enjoy this Butterfly Garden while waiting for their flights ❤️
If I'm from T4 and using the shuttle to T3 for MRT, can I go to this garden first before MRT?

I think that wouldn't happen. If it does, that country would have a new beautiful species.
How can you get asses to the garden when you just arrive in changi airport .

Do I need to pay fee for entering?
It's free entry. Thanks for watching.
