I really don’t like how people forgive Ei’s actions because of a misunderstanding, because of her she made so many people suffer under her rule. Even wanderer knew the reasons for her actions and finds it stupid

Yeah people don't understand intent vs impact. She has good intentions but what she did affected people which is bad.

Too my knowledge (tho I could be wrong) it wasn’t even a misunderstanding, Scaramouche knew Ei set him free but considers it abandonment because he didn’t want to be thrown out into the big wide world he wanted to stay with his mother and she denied that only caring about her goal of eternal and only sparing him out of a vague sense of pity and sympathy which he hated
9:09 for me (remember this is my opinion, you can have different opinions, it's okay) it still doesn't exuse Ei for what she's doing, yes she wants to give Scara freedom, yes she doesn't understand much about emotions, but just think about it, Scara is basically like a child who doesn't understand a much at that time, left without guidance on the street, until it ended up like he is now, however Ei created him so she is still somehow responsible for the matter.
So for me, people immediately forgive or defend Ei just because she wants to give Scara "freedom" It's a bit hypocritical, considering that if Scara was really a child or if Ei wasn't that pretty, they definitely wouldn't immediately "aww she just wanted to give him freedom "Even though technically Scara was like a child at that time (3 years after Ei made him)

I honestly think the key for their (scara and ei) relationship problem is communication, ei didn't make clear her intentions of giving scara freedom so scara took that as "abandonment". Communications is literally the key
