Blending with chalk paint on custom vanity in shades of plum and charcoal

- **Please note, I no longer use and cannot recommend Dixie Belle Paint products due to highly questionable business practices, contract violations, and unethical treatment of artists and retailers that led to mine and numerous others resignations in late 2021. Please see the links below for more information. I have chosen to leave this video content up for learning purposes only, but highly recommend considering other products when trying to achieve these same techniques. There are too many good product brands on the market to support a brand with these practices. I've included links to my most used options below

New sub from Wyoming. Love the colors and your blending is beautiful.
It is a kind of special fun to see those tea leaves and flowers up and down.
Great video !! Glad to learn that you put clear coat satin on first before gator hide. I can't stand streaks on paint or stain. The colors and blending is amazing. Thanks for another great video !!
Love your work!
Awesome job on this video! :)
I just got my DBP shipment!! Thank God I can paint during the quarantine! Lol
The gel stain is my favorite product for dixie belle
Hello Brandy, I'am from Gaspésie, Quebec and is a sunny day. Your blending is beautiful. I love your work. Just one question : do you put glaze before your coats ? Because of the paint dries so quickly. It's quite difficult for me blending as well as you.
Would have loved to finish the video but there was way too many ads!
Hi Brandi, thank you for this video. You are such an excellent teacher. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge and experience with us.
But, in regards to gator hide, I checked it out and found photos of the label of this product:
Warning: "vapor harmful" and "this product can expose you to chemical known in the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects."
I use Dixie Belle paints but after seeing this label, I will not use Gator hide. I am surprised because i thought that Dixie Belle products were nontoxic. Hmmm.
Yes, I too learned a lot about the products after leaving the company that I didn't realize at the time. I no longer work with this brand
@@BrushedbyBrandy Oh, wow. Thank you for answering me and so soon.
What brand do you work with now?
Are the products better?
@@malgozata1875 I'm using Wise owl paint products primarily, although not exclusively. One of the owners is an environmental scientist and I feel more comfortable the labeling is accurate and safety information is readily available, safety data sheets are on their website, its always a good idea to look into, I learned a ton!

@@BrushedbyBrandy wow. That's great. I will look into it.
Why does the clear coat sometimes reactive the paint ? Even if you let the paint dry for over 24 hrs??
Can I ask what rolling stool you use? It looks really low to the ground? The one in your Amazon doesn't look that low. BTW thank you for your videos I love them 💗
It's a mechanics stool with the post removed
Dues Dixie Belle have starter kits in colors inviduals want to use?
Quick question? I am getting foam when I use my Dixie belle sponge to apply my topcoat? Has that every happened to anyone? Thanks in advance!
My hubby finds the coolest cards too! Im useless! Lol
Brandy, do you have plans for any shows, etc after the quarantine is over? I am up in the Seattle area.
Love the colors just starting with Caulk paint, waiting for my supplies to arrive.
Awesome job on this video! :)
