UK Visa rules are about to get tougher in the breaking news coming in. The official UKVI immigration changes were announced that make moving to the UK much tougher.
The UK Govt just announced all the big changes to the UK visas that will seriously affect people trying to study and get a job in the UK.
This includes changes to salary thresholds, rules around dependants in the UK and care workers in the UK.
Foreign worker salary threshold rises to £38,700 as part of government clampdown.
A new five-point plan to cut immigration has been announced by the government, which includes banning care workers from bringing over their families and raising the minimum salary for a skilled worker visa.

Hi, your videos are very informative..Just a small doubt, will the professions such as biomedical/healthcare scientist that comes under nhs healthcare visa category should meet the new minimum salary requirement of 38k to get the skilled worker visa?
I am student with dependent of dec intake. Is this new threshold (i.e.38.7k) will applicable when we apply for sponsor visa??? Or those only for new applicant ie. after april intake??

What about private companies offering sponsorship jobs to health and care professionals such as Physio ? Are they providing skilled worker visa or health and care visa ?
It really depends on whether it is a job for the NHS or not. Always check with yor employer in advance. Good luck

Say us is it a right time to come UK for masters in health informatics or health care management course ? After completing the course can I get jobs related to my course field ? If I get A job , is it mandatory to a get a sponsorship job of 38K UK pounds ? You need to check the scope of your profession with other in the same field on Linkedin. Don't listen to anyone who isn't working in your field. Right now, if after completing masters if you get a sponsored job you don't need to meet the threshold of 38K GBP. But this might be changed, and I will let you know about it. So don't forget to subscribe.
