Dave I def enjoy your main channel and would like to see any / all of …
    - tech reviews
    - clothing / other gear reviews
    - race vlogs
    - training vlogs
    - bts what is it like to do a channel
    - news from the sport
    - training planning - how do you approach it
Really like your style and content. I think your audience is open to whatever you put out.
    Keep it up man.

Dave, your USP is actually you :). All the combination of tech reviews and vloggin is what makes this channel. There are a lot of dads out there (including me) hitting 40, trying to keep the dad bod in shape and your view on this just clicks :). So as a lot of people have already said, just keep doing what you are doing. We will be here supporting.

I was listening to the podcast today and you asked for feedback about your channel… so here I am! Also, I realized I was subscribed to this channel, but wasn’t receiving all notifications. I personally appreciate that your channel isn’t exclusively just gear reviews. I know you are still working at finding your niche as a full time UA-cam content creator, but rest assured you are doing great! Be confident! I relate with you and your struggles. I too am a dad that juggles family, fitness and work. Your “vlog” videos are refreshing in this space. It’s like going on a run with a good friend and just catching up. They inspire and motivate me to keep at it! Great job man! Love the channel.

Wanna see the content you're already doing on the main channel! Absolutely love your reviews but also your race vlogs! So no need for changes.

I like the reviews but I also love watching runs. I remember you did some trail runs before that I enjoyed watching!
I love the races and recaps as well.
    Training tips would be cool.

great podcast.. also for anyone in the Kansas area, and anywhere nearby ( I hope you see this).. today 3/31, is the last day you can sign up for the Salina marathon for 5 bucks.
I am not on the promotional team.., but 5 bucks for a race is crazy

    Again a great episode!
Would love to order something from your store. But if there are more things to come I may better wait. 🤔

I would like to see: mix tech reviews, smartwatch recommendations and comparations by price categories (2 or 3 times in a year), guides and tutorials, tips and tricks, news and updates about smartwatch industry...

Interesting thoughts about the Polar watch. I'll keep my Apple Watch for now and save money.

Like all of the other reviewers we're stuck in limbo until April 3rd when that final firmware is released!

Hi Dave, while searching for some reviews for a running watch I stumbled upon your channel and I liked what I saw and heard. While the tech can be compared by “tweakers” and such, it’s your ramblings, little silly jokes and als a father of small kids that resonates with me. Desfit and our ginger friend post similar reviews, it’s yours I want to listen to 🤷🏻‍♂️ I don’t care which channel 😋 I keep watching and listening to you if you keep rambling-it in stead of winging-it like anyone else 😄

I like your tech updates and reviews. I also like your regular old vlog content on whatever you were doing at the time. I liked your tips on how you go about getting out in the trails whilst having a young family, for example. I suspect most of your audience are average runners and outdoor enthusiasts, just trying to keep fit and get outside, and so can relate to whatever you're doing from thst perspective. If you want to do both, and don't want to start a new channel, maybe do both and tag them in some way in the description/thumbnail.
Blood sugar spikes don't really matter (or it's a good thing). It's what hapens afterwards that does. For most people a continuous monitor will range from no-good-beyond-entertainment, to bad, without any improvement in anything. I've even seen people swear off foods that they enjoy and are healthy, without any solud evidence at all that they should avoid them, just beause they cause spikes. There's a lot of hype around them, but it's mostly just that - it's something new we can measure, so we do. Let's say there is a one or two percent performance gain to be had, for arguments sake: a non-elite athlete is already leaving way more than that on the table elsewhere, for sure, and elites already have access to nutrition help and quality coaching etc, before even considering continuous glucose monitoring. Personally, I haven't used it, but probably will in future, surely out of curiosity/entertainment. Of course, it's a game changer for diabetics, but thats another matter.

Im here to learn about fitness and your opinions. If that’s gear reviews, great. But id also be interested in other content, as long as it’s educational or helps me understand someone’s opinion on fitness related topics. For me, vlog format is fine, given the above is satisfied.

In response to the podcast, listened to the audio, not on yt...
As a consumer, I appreciate the style of presentation, the human stories, the activities, locales. In short, I like you.
But the grave threat of online media is utterly fickle & dispassionate - I have hundreds of subs & clearly there's only time to consume a tiny fraction...
As for the business direction, no idea but in this pod imagine I can hear the uncertainty in your voice like imposter syndrome, humble is good in moderation - but just gonna have to try different stuff out and see if it gets traction.
For myself I can't imagine being in that world of invisible forces of advertising revenue, sponsor deals, popularity metrics etc. I'm doltish or old skool, pay me to do xyz, simple & direct...
That said, video has compelling visuals that make solo watchable. But it's very hard to make solo audio fresh and compelling every week.
Especially if you have a family I guess demanding your attention & energy - unless you wrangle them into the channel - as willing participants (!)
Other fitness pods I used to follow were round tables covering a menu of topics & audience questions, fitness advice.
The space is very crowded & competitive ... plus unfortunately the market is a small proportion of fitness motivated ppl among the overwhelming soup of regular slobs.

Thanks for sharing! Indeed everything is oversaturated these days. I suppose my mantra has always been "Be yourself, and make what you'd want to watch" so I'll continue to keep doing that but also trying new things here and there. Thanks for tuning in... It means a lot!
