thank you taylor for your amazing editing because it makes me laugh A LOT
Taylor Chan you have no idea how much my face hurts from smiling after seeing this xD KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
I liked these types of videos more than "Offline". I enjoyed listening to you guys having a real conversation rather than the scripted jokes in the office.
lowerstreet I love Offline. Probably more than almost everything else they've done, actually. PENIS.
I used to love Lunch Break when they edited it tight and right, like this one. Don´t make the vids longer because you THINK the YT algorithm favors that, because MY algorith is I won´t watch that shit.
Black Lives DO Matter!!! most people want their lunch breaks to be longer 🙂
love this series so much, these are the types of conversations i like to have, but no one around me appreciates them. continue making more!
I used to hate avocados as a child.. but now I can finish 4 in a row... 😅 ahaha it gets so addicting and it's healthy! My love for avocados is endless.
Amy Vang I just found out they have more potassium than bananas, which is important for me because I have an illness that causes my potassium to get low, so I have to have a potassium rich diet, and I hate bananas.
Amy Vang I love avocados now too! ♥ Though I thought they were gross as a kid.
Are you a picky eater? Do you hate the same foods we do?
More Wong Fu Until February, I was a vegetarian for over 10 years so it feels like I'm trying everything again for the first time! It's the best! :D
My dad and I hate seafood while everybody else in the family likes it but I could totally relate with Christine, I do not like beans at all.
More Wong Fu I'm with Wes on this one. I do NOT like liver. Loving this new series so much, laughing so often :D Felt so bad for Christine LOL
More Wong Fu I didnt like eggs when i was younger. i love em now though. I also didnt like potato chips for some reason when i was younger, but that´s a story for a different time
I just love how you guys sit & have lunch together, talking about things in life in casual matters and us audiences who are watching it feels like we're a part of your conversations.. it feels so close ^^
These are literally my new favorite videos. Seriously guys, keep 'em coming!
You guys are so awesome for doing this! Even though you guys are just eating and talking, I love watching these videos! :-)
I didn't like chicken feet when I was younger, but now I do! Yay dim sum! lol
Ohmygod the majority of the recommend videos are related to boogers and snot. THANKS TAYLOR
I seriously freaking love this segment, both episodes have been amazing and so funny
i really like this series, and also offline! i reminds me of wongfu weekends and it makes me happy~
the editing for these conversations is so good! That good olive though...
hahahah, loved the "Peach Out!"
Great job on the movie. I loved it. Can't wait for more movies from you guys.
It's too late at night to be watching these videos.. Omg I'm dying 😂 Love you guys!
1. Christine, your hair is GORGEOUS. :) 2. I love all the little edits you guys put in these videos, haha. Especially that Nacho Libre reference. Yaaaas.
These videos are so entertaining! Please keep them coming!
I love these videos please make more! Lol I watch them while eating my lunch.
I literally love this series so much! They are hilarious and it feels like I'm laughing with them!
I use to hate the half cooked eggs and now I love them :)
Love the editing Tay Tay ;)
same Christine I don't understand beans like you said it has a weird consistency and it has no taste. But I will eat edamame and red beans.
IDK WHY BUT I LAUGHED SO HARD WHILE WATCHING THIS OMG taylor is so funny
These are fun to watch! I was eating lunch while watching it, lol. Thanks for sharing guys. -Tan
Wes is the only one who doesn't have the taste buds of a 12-year old girl. God bless Cantonese people.
Christine's and Taylor's reaction to each other in these type of videos are hilarious
Totally feel ya Phil!! I drive my parents, family, and friends crazy with my general distaste for sashimi, sushi, and seafood in general! Crawfish boils (which are common around here)...ugh...
I also totally love green onions! I thought I was the only one that turned soup into salads with them!
I eat sashimi but I don't eat cooked fish. I'll let that sink in
My cousin is like that. She will eat all the raw fish she can, and she hates cooked fish. I'm like what! It's fish! Then we have to cut her raw slices before we put the raw fish in the grill. But personally I like raw and cooked fish🎣🍣🍤🐙🐚🐠🐟
Skylar Niobe I would like to meet your cousin. I'm not being serious by the way
Wes is the only one eating his food with chopsticks, plus he eats it in such a gentle way.
omg I love this series you guys!
Hahaha!! BUGERS!!!
I hated onions, they look like tape worms.
But now I love it....but they still look like tape worms. 😑
Till now, I still wonder how Phil's hair is so fabulous
Olive you all so much. This was Taylor made to make us laugh. Haha. :) I didn't like seafood when I was young but love it now after living in Hong Kong!
Phil and olives is like what coffee is to me. I never really liked it until I had this really great coffee at a wedding. I also had it right after a bite of dessert, so the bitter flavour was balanced by the sweetness of the cake. Now I am perpetually in search for the taste of that coffee again.
I cannot for the life of me eat bean sprouts. Just don't like their texture of something. People tease me cause they don't taste like anything.
x0xsakura I hate those too. It feels like you have a mouthful of hair.
Try taking off the root before cooking. My mom used to make us sit in the kitchen and get all the roots so I don't eat them anymore
x0xsakura you probably ate them raw. Bean sprouts taste a lot better when cooked.
Time for a kinda weird comment.
Never in my life I'd expect that I'd watch a series where people eat. I'm extremely sensitive with chewing sounds etc. So apart from saying that this is a very entertaining series, I must say, thanks for eating so politely!
Was that weird? Probably :D
Caleidoskope Yeah I have... I wish I was alone though, it's a nightmare to have :/
I love these lunch break videos!
love these episodes
Hated cilantro growing up and I would pick it out of everything. As an Asian, that turned out to be a lot of things. I was at a friend's house a couple of years ago and she made this bell pepper and balsamic vinegar dressing salad with cilantro and suddenly I understood the flavour and that it worked really well foods that had a mild acidic flavour profile.
Now I hope something clicks for me with celery and ginger although it's more that I hate the texture than its flavour.
James Koh Hmm, I can empathize with not liking cilantro growing up. When I first started eating it, I thought it tasted like soap. But as I grew up I paired them with different herbs like parsley, oregano, etc. in a lot of different sauces which made me appreciate the flavor profile more.
My family has always been big on seafood so I started eating oysters when I was 7 (really enjoyed them with salt and lemon). What I really can't eat though is liver and pig blood (or any animal blood for that matter). My parents forced me to eat liver once and I almost puked >~
Daisy Toledo The same here, my family is a big seafood lover, the grew up near the coast in China. Oyster...... (drooling now)
I love this series!
YESSS Taylor! The allergic to nuts club.
I'm Chinese American and I HATE rice. I probably eat it once every five months. Like Phil, I don't like fish at all, only one specific type of fish. The only seafood I'll eat is shellfish. :'( not asian. But I absolutely love green onion just like Wes. I pile it on my soup and eat it plain too!
***** If you didn't eat rice what kind of carbs did you eat? Bread, pasta, wraps, grains? I'm legitimately curious because in a lot of Asian cultures it's kind of hard to pair their food without rice. Even if you're Chinese American (which I am also)
***** Me too me too! I don't eat rice. I wouldn't say I hate it, but I think it's pointless filler food. Much rather eat the yummy stuff.
Emaline L. I eat bread and grains. I do not eat Chinese food as often as most of my Chinese American friends, but when I do I merely eat the food opting out the rice. There are buns and a ton of food at dim sum that are delicious and have no rice whatsoever, so I eat that. I think that Asian food is amazing, but I just eat everything without rice.
***** I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. i dont eat rice and when i do...its like a nibble. And i'm chinese american, eating chinese food ever night is struggle.
i find it very hard to eat durians, i cant get pass the smell >
Lien Ly I find the taste and smell of durian to be so good. Just today earlier, my mom chopped open some durian and told me I couldn't have them since I'm sick. I was a bit bumped of not getting to eat it.
I love these types of videos!
love this series!
Mukbang! ;)
I share Wes' food he doesn't eat! I don't ever eat liver or pigs blood...gross!
LOL, I enjoyed watching every piece and conversation of this clip. HAHA... It just so on point! White vs dark chicken meat!!! I like dark, and yes, white is dry! LOL. But I do eat the white too, with SARIRACHA! LOL
Wong Fu daytime talk show! Really loving it so far.
Btw, anyone know what kind of camera Phil always has in these videos?
This is a weird one but I hated tomatoes. Still do but before I wouldn't even eat ketchup or, here's the weird part: I would eat pizza without the tomato sauce. I always had to order a specially made pizza and couldn't just get a single slice of pizza that was already pre-made.
I can now after once having a really good pizza, kínda like phil but to this day I still hate tomatoes and ketchup. Blah.
I love love LOVE raw fish. I don't like spicy food, liver, or pig's blood. I don't like beans either. So Phil, you suck. (jk. I love you all.)
love the editing -- hahaha the replay!
I totally agree with the snack packet/container thing! I leave the top on snack containers, except for the annoying sauce packet lids that always find their way back on top XD
I'm Chinese, but I hate eating rice.
PaperMousee WHATTTT??!!! that's seriously the first time I ever heard someone say they didn't like rice.
PaperMousee Have you tried rice prepared different ways? Because there is seriously like so many ways to prepare rice. Paella, Curry, Mexican style, Rice-a-roni, hell, there's even rice pudding.
So hilarious!! I'm laughing so much xD
I love this series so much lol
Wes' comment "Don't waste you sashimi on him" was just so quick and so on point, I find it so hilarious! But I completely agree. Sashimi is too precious to waste on those who don't appreciate it's yumminess :P
I love these lunch breaks!
For some reason this is my favourite episode of lunch break
I love these "lunch breaks" :D
I'm absolutely loving lunch break!
Oh the pun at the end was so good. Lol
Very true about the sashimi! I always tell my friends who won't try it or don't like it that they're missing out. But the first time I tried it I didn't want to, nor did I like it. I can't have it alone, though. It has to be with wasabi and soy sauce or some type of dressing though. Love sushi.
"Beans don't taste like anything" Phil: THEY TASTE LIKE BEANS! Is it weird that I died laughing?
WHEN TAYLOR TIMES IT JUST RIGHT WHEN PHIL DEMONSTRATES THE MCDONALDS SAUCE PACKETS IM CRYING
I hated spinach growing up and would always feed it to my dogs, until I was older and eating salad with my rabbits I found I love it as long as it's not cooked! The way a food is prepared as a lot to do with my preferences.
not a food item but a drink...I used to hate tea as a child coz it tasted like nothing but now I freaking love it!
At the end when Taylor said 'Peach Out' 😂😂
Ahhhh phil's lunch first reminded me of the salads at foodworx (which is a "dining hall" at UCSD fyi)! :3
Phil, honestly, love you! ❤️
That nacho reference though!😂
I'm actually the opposite of Wes when it comes to onions; I use to like eating it as a child but now if I can taste too much of it I'll pick it out lol And Christine, right on! I don't like the non-green beans too haha! Seriously loved how funny Taylor&Phil were too I love this series cause we get to know wong fu more!
I used to hate tomatoes, but now i love them. My parents would try to force feed me tomatoes when i was a kid and i never ate spaghetti with tomato and meat sauce. My parents would make me a separate meal of like butter and ground beef with the spaghetti. Weirdly enough though i loved tomato soup.
Taste buds change over time as your cells are replaced, so its always good to try different foods
Didn't like Japanese fermented beans first time I tried it. But for some reason my family decided to give it a go a second time and we magically all fell in love with it. It has become more or less a staple in our diet now.
After watching this video, I love Phil so much xD I guess it's coz I relate to him and his humour is just so great lmao
Haha. When Christine said she didn't like beans I was thinking about red beans and once she said she didn't like them, my eyes bugged out. XD
Love this interaction!
When I was little, I used to hate red beans. Whenever my family bought imagawayaki or dorayaki, I loved eating the pancake-like parts but I refused to eat the red bean filling. Now, I can't get enough of red bean. I love on everying: pastries, shaved ice. etc.
I love lunch break! its so entertaining!
I just realied after watching all these lunch breaks, Phil EATS ALOT. Classic Phil...
I think you guys should go to a factory farm for the next wong fu weekends... Just raise awareness as to where your food comes from.
Hahaha, Taylor is the best XD
Foods I don't like aren't that common in a person's diet...Like pine nuts and cooked rounds of Korean radish (it sounds weirder than it actually is, I think). There's more, but I can't think of them right now. Yeeah.
"Don't waste your sashimi on him" hahahaha
I'm with Phil on picking out the Spring Onions outta my food. It's TAKES FOREVER! When I go to get Pho I always tell them to leave out Spring Onions, but they never do, so I spend have the meal picking them out. But I love SUSHI! Been eating since I was like 7 & EST it almost all the time.
I used to hate cilantro as a kid... but now i love it !
For some reason I cracked up at the olive edit. XD
Lolol! i was laughing outloud watching this
Tomatoes! HATED it as a kid, but like it now (as long as I'm eating it with something or it's in a sandwich).
Taylor and Phil are so synchronised HAHAHA
Really enjoying Lunch Break you guys :D I love hearing all of your opinions. Keep it goin'~
"Ugh, it's so bitter!" Guess that's why they call it bitter melon haha xD
Lol Wes the true Asian using chopsticks eating his poke while everyone else is using forks
I used to hate cilantro but now I'm obsessed!
i used to hate octopus a couple of years ago, but now i really love it
hahahahaha Wes "don't waste your sashimi on him" xDD
I can relate Wes. I overload green onion/scallion on everything
"desperate times, desperate measures."😂😂😂
Come eat with us! Who's loving this new series?? Thumbs UP so we keep it going!
Yes please! Your lunch looks delicious l!
Wong Fu Productions I wanted that end credits to be longer right after Taylor said Peach Out just so I can hear Phil's laughter and the rest of the comment. But I used to not like eggs just because one experience I had in kindergarten where the eggs was so bad I had a stomachache and just implanted in my brain I'm allergic to it and for the next 7/8 years later, I've never ate eggs in my dish and told them all I'm allergic to it and I don't know when but I've always seen my brother eating a dish with scrambled egg and thought it was so succulent and tried it out and that's when I need realised I was never allergic to it. The one's I ate in the kindergarten was just bad egg.
Wong Fu Productions loving the more frequent uploads!
Love it! Totally wish I could actually be there and hang out with you guys - you're all so chill!
Wong Fu Productions I relate to this on a whole new level. haha. I LOVE chicken. and I never had steak or sashimi till the start of last year.
