What a great women’s U.S. Open. The people of the Philippines and Japan must be proud, both Yuka and Nasa handled themselves like true champions. I felt bad for Lexi but I have to say, Lexi played really well this week but unfortunately a few bad swings cost her at the end. Shame on NBC for cutting away, fortunately we have the Golf Channel so we didn’t miss any of the playoff

U know what though?!? I don't care what anyone says, she won this tournament cuz she buckled down after that disastrous start of her round!! 4 over after 3 holes!!! Omg!! She cudda EASILY ended up carding an 80!! But no. She HUNG in there.... gathered herself after going from 1 behind to 5 behind . To me, that's just unbelievable. How do u keep ur composure?! Well somehow she did....didn't make any ugly numbers after that. She made back to back birdies on 16 and 17!!! Par 5s! IMO, she deserved to win!!!
In Japanese we do pronounce her name as YUUKA not YUKA according to the Japanese Kanji.

@@willzresurreccion6745 Yes, but she is Japanese and Filipino right now. But according to Japanese law, she has to make a choice by age 22, no double nationality allowed. She has said she will choose to become Japanese by that time. Right now she is carrying Filipino because Phillipines has sponsored her in her youth and she feels gratitude for it.
@@wilburwood8261 but for now, a Filipina won the US OPEN and in 2018 won two gold medals in the Asian Games for the Philippines. And if the Summer Olympics will not be postponed she will be representing the Philippines and hopefully give the country it's first Olympic gold.
