I'm very new to Alma Linux and I need some help. I have to use LabVIEW and Matlab for university. I had to install Windows on an old pc to use these, because I couldn't get them to work on Fedora, which I've been using for a while. If Labview and Matlab both say that they're supported on RHEL, would they work on Alma Linux?
I just checked Labview it says you can use either RHEL 8 or RHEL 9, And they specify the Desktop install. So if you install AlmaLinux 8 or AlmaLinux 9 make sure you choose the Workstation and it should work fine.
Well sorta, There are two ways to update a Jetson Nano...1) Upgrade in place or 2) Upgrade from the Manager System (requires an x86 with Ubuntu installed). I usually use the 1st option. Which only works between major versions. If you jump from 5 to 6, well its burn an SD time and rebuild your environment. Supposedly, after 6 we will be able to upgrade from any version minor release or major release.
Excellent video. I enjoyed the little aside about "Yank" and "Limey" English in pronouncing CentOS.
I think we are going to go for CentOS stream. But thanks for this demonstration!
DJ, is Almalinux better than rocky linux in terms of its support and reliability? Thanks.
should we do backup the server before migrate?
