I loved this animation! It was a great medium to acknowledge public fears and debunk them. It makes me sad when science is politicized. When science is politicized, people stop trusting science as a medium for discovering truth. A lot of people have been hurt during the pandemic because we’ve chosen not to trust truth seekers, the scientists.

“Debunk” is a strong word, you’re right. They only addressed concerns, but didn’t prove anything. Data would have been really helpful for their argument, like that COVID vaccines reduce getting serious illness by 90+% or that vaccines have nearly eradicated harmful diseases like polio. I still don’t see the video as propaganda though because there is nothing political about it.

@@matthewcloward8275 “serious illness by 90% “. MOST people didn’t and won’t experience severe disease, vaccinated or not. This particular vaccine has taken less than a year to develop, and is being used by way of emergency approval, and suggested by many that it should be mandated. and because videos like these help to prove nothing, and only to persuade without real data involved, it is propaganda.
