Exactly my thoughts. Every close attempt was awesome but understandably wobbly. But I swear that roll away is smoother than 70% of standard flairs from anyone.
This kind of thing should get the same kind of press and recognition as say breaking the 100m dash record. It's monumental. Not only that but the added risk factor is so far from what the average non action sports athlete can even comprehend. Enjoyed every second of this video. WOW! That was epic. Congratulations Kieran! I sat there with my jaw on the floor the entire video. I've been lucky enough to have been able to watch (and be a very small party of) the evolution of BMX from the late 70's, and I'm so thankful that it is still kicking. I knew of Kieran being local to him and seeing him ride at Override skate park, he then popped up on this new channel I'd started watching (Tall Order) knew he was going places back then. Broooo I’m 31 and I used to ride everyday till I was about 18 till I did my back in badly but watching the progression over the last 10+ years of riding is bloody insane it’s young bloods like this making the sport amazing to watch 😳
I'm glad they showed the progression and the hard work and mental struggle that went into landing that trick, because if they just showed the outcome, everyone would think, oh it must've been easy then since he landed it SO SMOOTHE. great vid, congrats Kieran. what a legend.

What really blows my mind about this is the timing of the shoulder drop. It’s basically a double flip- then commit to dropping the shoulder for the “flair” portion of this mind bending trick. Kieran’s head game is on another level.
Came to watch after seeing the Instagram clip. I knew this was gunna be a battle but Jesus!! The head clip did NOT look great & to see Kieran just bounce up from it & get back on it was nothing short of incredible. The pull was ridiculous, that is 3 backflips & a 180 all in one air & he couldn't have rolled away cleaner!! When I think back to watching some worlds firsts when I was younger, 540 Whip, the first Double & Triple Whips, hell Double Flips were a trick that either got you first or last & sadly in some cases far far worse! For a world's first? That was a clean as clean can get, absolute perfection! Nothing sloppy about that at all! Kieran should be incredibly proud of what he achieved that day, yet another CRAZY trick added to his legacy & he's still got many years ahead of him!

Man, that was clean. I was eleven when guys started doing single flairs, and front flips, and it's crazy to see how things have progressed in 25+ years.
Every try was sweat blood tears and constant commitment, even behind a screen I was cheering him on, props to everyone that made it happen, 1000% props to the man himself who had the balls to send it. Massive congrats
While I somewhat understand why this is being called a triple flair, it really isn’t. Think about it - if he stopped at the second backflip and landed, what would that trick be called? A “double backflip”, not “double flair”. It’s physical impossible to do more than one proper flair consecutively.
@@Yoshi-eggIt’s not a simple backflip as halfway through when the bike is upside down, you flip the bike sideways to bring yourself right side up at which point you’ll be facing away from the ramp. A regular backflip has you always facing the ramp.
Absolutely love that Matt was by his side supporting, two of britains greatest in my eyes would love to meet them both as they seem so normal and down to earth, both with multiple worlds first of they’re own and many more to be achieved. Both men are super human
When i started in bmx in the 80's, a 360 or backflip was insane. Then I saw Mirra do a flair. I thought that was the end of it. Now this!!!!! Amazing man. Congratulations! Absolutely epic.

A flair is simply a back flip on a quarter pipe or vert ramp.
You can land fakie or 180 out....they're both a flair.
