"easy tap in from here"... famous last words!! Love this video, been looking at the retooled Kaxe Z thinking about picking one up. Kastaplast makes the best plastic. "THROW PLASTIC!".
I feel for you Chris! I have been going through the process of finalizing my bag prior to the 2024 season and, like you, no matter what I choose something I like always gets left out. In my personal experience I am beginning to see that less is more. By playing with different weights and plastics of the molds that I love I have been able to cover more shots in my bag. This has cut down on the number of overlap and in between discs that cause me to overthink everything else in my bag. Your assessment of the understable discs in your bag was spot on. The PA-5 is a fantastic understable throwing putter! My 750 PA-5 goes pretty far. How does it compare distance wise to the Peach? The Peach does go well with the name of your channel but at the same time they aren't paying you to throw it so don't put too much of an expectation on yourself if it doesn't work. For the courses I play, spacing out my discs by 2 or 3 speeds seems to be ideal. I can always power down on my Rollo to cover the shot that is just a tick too long to for my PA-5. Likewise, if you paired an Uplink (you seem to like MVP), with your PA-5 you could easily cover the 4 and 6 speed slots before needing to jump up to your F7. Plus, it complements your Hex and distance wise where the Hex and Uplink end, your Crave and Resistor would begin. Anyway, I'm looking forward to your 18 hole round with only Kastaplast discs. Do you have a Svea in your collection? If so, how does it fly? I have had my eye on that one for awhile but haven't made the jump into Kastaplast discs yet. I appreciate your content and hope you keep it coming.
Thanks for the comment! I think I'm planning on actually doing a couple of bag battle style videos to sort of really get some good field tests with different discs to see where there is overlap. As for the Kastaplast discs, right now I just have these 6 speeds, the Berg and Berg-X, a Jarn, and a Falk. But I'm planning on getting the Kastaplast starter set which I believe comes with a Svea. If not, one of my friends has one that I may be able to borrow, it is one that I really want to test.
@@peachydiscgolf This sounds fantastic! I look forward to both of those videos. It will be interesting to see how close all of those molds really are. I couldn't help myself. I bought my first Kastaplast Discs based on this video. A Stig and Svea deliver today. Both of these should fill some of the understable holes in my bag. I look forward to both and I thank you for putting out content that us mere mortals can relate with! What weights do you like your Craves in?
@@Titus_337Nice! I hope you enjoy them. I ended up bagging the Stig and the Kaxe for now, and my friend loves her Svea. The plastic feel soooo good. For my Craves, I usually shoot for the mid 160s. I think mine is right around 165.
I just discovered your channel. And enjoyed your review. I have the Kaxe in soft plastic and feel the same way you do. It flies farther than my other mids (Truth and Verdict). Not as stable as numbers would suggest. I ordered the Stig, I’m hoping it will replace my gstar Leopard 3, cause the new run is wicked understable.
I just traveled with it for the first time, and it is a night and day difference. The Legend bag was always such a pain to bring on flights, even when throwing it in the overhead bins. So much easier to travel with the Lore.
They actually just released a retooled version as well. I haven't gotten to test it yet, but it looks like it's listed as being a little less overstable even.
I love that Kastaplast has a 6-speed line up. I used to throw an Innova Gazelle a ton back in the day, so it’s a nostalgic feeling.
I still throw a gazelle …
Great comparison! Ive been eyeing these discs too. Thanks for comparing to the Crave as well, as that is cutrently in my bag. Great disc!
I loooooove the Crave. It is such a good disc.

My favorite line lol

Love my Kaxe Z
Also switched over to the Lore and have been really liking it

I was looking at the Kaxe in store. The numbers are what turned me away from getting it, but maybe I’ll go get one after watching this!
