Did you ever get a transmission tune? People say it helps with 1st gear jerkiness, and better shifts. Trying to do some research from reviews myself. I live right by RK tunes, been going to them for years with my m235, but now waiting until spring to tune my m4 =)
The sad part is 0-60 times don’t really change but 60-120 times improve soo much more simply due to rear wheel drive. If this car had All wheel drive or Xdrive you'd hit 60 in under 3.5 seconds. My Z4 stock 382whp has like 430 now and 475 with e40 and there's no traction just like m4 you have. It sucks because I should be hitting sub 3.5 seconds 0-60 too but instead it's 3.9 or 4.0
You mentioned your ECU was unlocked without this tune. Did RK Tunes advise you unlock it first? They mentioned unlocking the ECU isn't necessary now, all you need is to plug into the OBDII port and flash.
Is this the only tune you've tried? I'm between RK Tunes and Bootmod3. Because of this video, I'm leaning towards RK because they seem super helpful and this setup seems so user friendly.
It's not good to rev high up while the engine isn't at warm running temperature, but still good content bro post more make a IG connected to your UA-cam bro expand your channel and content!
doubt its more capable. the off the shelf maps defiantly don't make more power and if you get a custom tune you end up spending more to do the same thing I have now

yea the day before I got it back they posted something about not needing an unlock anymore but at the time the said it was necessary.. oh well haha

The jb4 takes some time to install to all the sensors, flash tunes are so much easier to install.
