Hi Yohio. I have suggestion for you. Can you do vlog? For example, you show to fans what you doing in a day, cooking a meal or playing with instruments. If you want or consider it. You can make when you have free time. I not pushing you if you don't want doing vlog. I just want know about you. I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable.

*In conclusion:* Over the years you've become a talented person, and that is reflected in the work that you do, it continues so that everything you do so far is incredible and as for podcasts they've been very helpful and still missing to come; isn't it exciting? Because for me it is 😅💕

This is actually really cool. There aren’t really any artist that would give a glimpse into how they create their work or that even would admit how hard it is to do it. I find it amazing that you started with drawing and then music got your attention, it proves how dedicated you are to your work and what you do. Thank you for showing us!❤️

As someone who studied classical composition in college and shares the wretched joy of Mars in Virgo, I toooootally understand the need for perfection.

Speaking of how every song is different, lemme just share how I put together my first actual song. I was enrolled in a music school that holds jam sessions among students of different instruments. At the time, I was already part of the house band, which was like the representative band that actually went to public places to perform live. So we had weekly jams to expand our songlist and to improve our existing songs. Usually we just do covers, but our director decided to take us a step further and encouraged the vocalists (I was a vocalist) to write their own originals. 'Encouraged' so I didn't think it was an urgent request, but the jam day came and lo and behold, everyone showed up with lyrics. I was the only vocalist who didn't have an original yet. So the first hour passed, and they polished their ideas with the guitars and drums while I holed myself up in my own head amidst the loudness to pull together an original, just so I don't end up doing completely nothing on that session. And I did it. I finished working out a melody with complete lyrics by the time they finished with the other original songs. The guitarists helped a lot for the rest of it by figuring out the chords that went well with the melody. It ended up a simple and short song, but hey that's a start haha
Now I'm working on making more originals on my own, and it's great to know that I'm on the right track, judging by how you describe your song writing process. Thanks :D

"Creativity comes to you sometimes in the most unusual of ways" an idea for a drawing or something I write under the shower is as usual for me as getting one from my dreams or the songs I listen to xD and like your songs - my best drawings come from scratch with the most unusual idea in mind (like the one speeddrawing on my channel here I made for a contest and I originally wanted to do something completely different xD) All I have to add to that is: roll with it, even if it confuses you at first, you'll like the result a lot and sometimes you didn't even realise you were capable of doing this at all ^^

Wow, it's so interesting that the chorus for My Nocturnal Serenade came to you while you were in the woods, because every time I have listened to that song, I get a strong desire to take a nighttime walk through the woods. That is especially odd considering that I live nowhere near a forest. I don't know how to really explain it, but I have always gotten the feeling of "night forest" when I hear that song. The melody really did capture that atmosphere! Thank you for sharing your creative process with us! It was very interesting and informative, as all your podcasts have been.

Interesting to hear YOHIO just how much work actually goes into writing and recording of a song.I give you so much credit. Not many musicians are involved in the entire creative process or get that let alone get the freedom to do what they want. Some are just a product a record company singing someone elses lyrics and songs.Once videos became another way to reach audiences (not just for promoting to a record company)many musicians feared how creating a video might change the original intentions of what the song was about.I wonder how much of the video part is yours and hope you have freedom in that expression too.As for that who week spent on the same song.. so well worth it!!😀

I've been listening to your old songs until the recent, you've improve so much, you're getting better and better upon creating and delivering your songs and also your vocal prowess is getting stronger and more refined, and the control is there and i just love it!.. its really impressive on how you've grown.. I'm curious about how your brain really works on creativity....and I hope this could help me...
Keep up the great work.. Love lots ❤❤❤

This was really interesting to someone who knows literally nothing about music production! But also as a creative, I really resonate with what you said about finding inspiration. When you're in a creative slump it can seem impossible to find new idea but it really is as simple as a change of scenery or a change of perspective. I also take a lot of inspiration from just reading books, listening to music, or watching movies. Art inspires art. Just want to say also that your music inspires my creativity immensely.

You are truly amazing. Ever since your music was suggested to me, I've been hooked. I know you get this appreciation a lot, but you truly deserve it.) "Merry Go Round" and "My Nocturnal Serenade" are the two most amazing pieces of music I've ever heard. They're so whimsical and an amazing piece of art. You're so inspiring. I even use "Merry Go Round" in a video of mine because your work inspired the creative side of me. Good work, Mate.

Also I find it so cool that you got inspired to write my nocturnal serenade while being at the woods, I don't know why but knowing that, makes the song even more magical.
Thank you for sharing your creation process with us. I love to know more about you and also I think I could listen to you speaking for hours, your voice is so beautiful and relaxing.

Just got back from a 7 hour long band camp session and I’m totally exhausted. But this, this made my day and sparked some motivation to maybe even start creating my own music. I’ve always had music ideas but I never knew where to start to put stuff together. I’m literally the only other person in my family/ friend group besides my little sister that have any interests in music so it’s not like I can just ask people ya know? Just finished listening to your podcast~!! 💜💜💜 I actually never expected that I had the same interest as you YOHIO sensei and not just me but even your fans as well💜 I’m always interested in drawing anime’s and arts as well but I do it as a hobby but I also had a dream of becoming an animator or an app/game creator and when it comes to music, some lyrics and note are actually popping up in my head from time to time especially when I’m spending my time alone and when I’m doing something that makes me feel happy and relaxed. I record some of the notes (or tunes)by humming then I write the lyrics as soon as It pop up in my head I sometimes even take it as a hobby and practice singing it and sharing with my friend (acapella version only tho xD) I actually wanted to create my own music using these but I haven’t even played a single instrument in my life and I have no knowledge in processing music before so I feel kinda bad about it 😢 but thanks to your podcast, now I know how to create music thank you so much YOHIO for sharing this with us it really helps us a lot!! 💜💜💜 you also made me motivated not to give up on this path thank you much YOHIO sensei we love you so much ~!! 💜 looking forward for more of your podcast in the future 😊🌸💕

Thank you for the very interesting topic of this day ! Well, what you do is a type of activity for which it’s hard to have an accurate and detailed conception... It can seem very vague, so the fact that you talked about it helps to give a better idea of what it is to produce music. Maybe because the process (work) is very personal in a way...? I realize a little better now how patient you must be... Woaw. But I’m happy you can be satisfied with your songs in the end !
Funny... When inspirational ideas come, you must CATCH them. That’s what I understood from your video. In my case, the best ideas come to me when I’m under the shower or about to sleep, so I must get out and run to my phone to take notes. That’s crazy, words have already slipped from my mind when I reach it ! Grrr... I hope it doesn’t happen too often for you. xD Anyways Yohio, I hope you like novels for you have one under each of your videos... Thank you for your advices and podcast, and all the best to you ! ~

I can't play musical instruments, I can't sing and something like that, but one time I decided to try to make music. It turned out something not musical. It was just a set of sounds and nothing more. But even then, I'm still trying to create something similar to music. But I still can't do it 🤣
Unfortunately, I didn't go to music school, I didn't think about it because I wasn't interested. At that time I was interested in drawing and went to art school, where I couldn't do anything. So I stopped going there. Now I want to connect my life with music more and more, even though I'm not very good at it🤷🏻‍♀️
However, I don't give up trying!
In fact, it was very interesting to hear about your creative process. Some facts even made me very surprised.
I'll say it again. You're my inspiration. And for that, I'm really grateful to you.

Same, as a bit of a perfectionist I really find it hard to say that I'm satisfied with this or that. Also, I agree with recording the melody even if it's sudden (just popped in your head) or given with ideas because you never know when it is useful to you--I remembered humming something random and I actually liked it, but I forgot it now :v

But I, on the contrary, believe that in the end it is a thousand times more enjoyable when you know you really worked super hard and to see the great results! You're so amazing being able to play many instruments like my piano skills are pretty average like literally and you're so creative I think people would want you to make vlogs and reaction videos and stuff like other youtubers for both you and the viewers entertainment maybe you could make a livestream of you playing games
