Yo when you come out with a album let me know I'll buy it for sure gotta support real hop hop I'm 20 yrs old all I fuck with is real hip hop. I'm a bboy so I've been crate digging for the past 5 years and stopped fucking with these wack wannabe rappers. Rap is something we do hip hop is something we live
+Michel van Berkum Because all artists have an influence they adapt their style from. Afro said his influences and even said he was paying attention to the beats, their sounds, and their styles. Sure hes got his own unique thing, but its bits and pieces of other unique things. Comparing a young great rapper to the rappers from the 70's and 80's that CREATED hip hop isn't an insult. This kid sounds just like the grand masters, thats not something to be ashamed of in the slightest.
This isn't even trying to diss, this guy has a dope flow and delivery. But his lyrics? They're stuck in the past, you know cats like j Coke and Kendrick don't have multi syllable rhymes from outer space? It is fucking hard to write a concise story or message without compromising the vision by using a lot of rhymes. Their rhymes are there, but they're not noticeable until you look at the lyrics and break down the sounds, people forget that. Rhymes have evolved, the better rhymes is the one who does it without your knowledge, you hear some rhyme but not all of the rhyme. Point is what I'm making, Afro needs to work on his lyrics, he isn't saying anything different. Pick up a tape from a New York rapper who was big in the 90s and you have an old Afro. He's being molded by dudes who could adapt to the changing industry. If he wants to take over hip hop he has to take Kendrick down, who's music is now being used a an anthem of struggle. He's nice, but nothing new.
what are you talkong about? hes doing him and rapping how he likes. kendrick ans cole are awesome but afro doesnt have to be like them to succeed. hes amazing at being him. he brings something awesome to the table and tge dact that its nothing like k dot or cole is part of the charm. theres way too many rappers today to talk about just one being "the best." just appreciate what each talent brings and be happy that all these young cats are keeping the culture alive.
A-F-R-O I swear i think youre a godsend. I was sold when i saw the BigL record in your vinyl collection. Been listening to doom for years but just founds Afro today, this shit is gold
Jamal Gutierrez
you remind me of capital steeZ
Thats what I said?!!
+Michael Smith mix of both.......
dude has a totally unique voice, same goes for his rhymepatterns and wordchoice, i dont understand why people always tryna compare... shit
+Michel van Berkum. we are saying who he sounds like for conversation
Made the "Me Gusta" face approximately 5 seconds in. I lost 7 pounds worth of semen by minute 1.
Brick's Toilet Store that’s fucked up but understandable
Im so glad I found this today. You're going to change lives kid. Dont stop.
It's probably been ten years since I've put my ear to the speaker to bump my head and hear every single lyric on a track. A-F-R-O brings IT back!
it's biggie reborn no doubt! Biggie died about 15 years ago he's 17!
Big died 19 yrs ago so maybe🔥
+Phillip Lindly yeah something like that and think afro just turned 18 not sure
+Sergio Delgado Each rapper has his own style, this isn't Biggie reborn, this is merely A-F-R-O through and through.
you mean big pun this chico not black
+David ohmy he's mixed I think
By dudes who couldn't adapt
what are you talkong about? hes doing him and rapping how he likes. kendrick ans cole are awesome but afro doesnt have to be like them to succeed. hes amazing at being him. he brings something awesome to the table and tge dact that its nothing like k dot or cole is part of the charm. theres way too many rappers today to talk about just one being "the best." just appreciate what each talent brings and be happy that all these young cats are keeping the culture alive.
Of all things you could have critiqued, it's his lyrics?
Fuck dat cole ain't shit
kendrick aint close to a rapper. hes a pop artist.....POP!!!! not HIPHOP
Dude. With that raw talent and beats like that, there's nothing stopping you.
A-F-R-O I swear i think youre a godsend. I was sold when i saw the BigL record in your vinyl collection. Youre strengths and what you highlight with your talents are everything I miss about east coast 90s hip hop. Lyrics, air tight flow, and actual substance to what youre saying. Plus i cant beleive youre so young its crazy man! keep on grinding!
