Had a big problem with this during the last 2 years, but now I'm committing to games that respect my time and energy more. GW models are cool, but even the models have become anti-consumer with all this monopose stuff that's harder and harder to kitbash. Yeah, they get more "detail" but at the expense of creativity. I hope Trench Crusade and One Page Rules keep being successful, as these systems and the many others are keeping the soul of the hobby alive
I second this. Read through the rules and have had fun list building so far. Wargames Atlantic and Perry kits seem like they're work nicely and net you around 60 minis which is plenty for many warbands as opposed to spending the same money on literally 10 space marines with limited options (unless you can get an old Tactical Marine kit, but still)
I personally don't have any issues with doing it to GW, mostly due to the large amount of anti-consumer practices they have done that have directly affected me, but I get it.
Thanks for mentioning Historicals - No one is going to retcon your Sherman out of the US list.
Exactly! Makes buying and painting minis so more satisfying

I am once again asking you to do an episode on Trench Crusade. Also, yes all of your points here are absolutely correct.
I will, I just want to actually play the game before making the video

Resist the FOMO!
Exactly!
Why would you want to risk losing money for new models when all you need is what ever you find cool and spending alot
Alternate models are great, but that scanning thing is... not cool and could be illegal depending on your jurisdiction.
