I don't recognize the geiko with purple hikizuri ^^;; but the geiko with the blue one is Sayaka-san and it's Takasuzu-san with the MARVELOUS snow hikizuri (my favourite sort of hiki). They dance "Haru no Hana". Thank you very much for sharing !
@@stefaneko26 oh hey, glad to know you’re still around lol. I didn’t want to be that bitch, I hope I wasn’t condescending. I think you thought it was called Haru no Hana because those are the first few words of the song, and tbf it’s often the case that the first few words are the title as well. But this one’s Kyo no Shiki. It describes the 4 seasons in Kyoto and the various activities/sights associated with them. I can’t really recall which emotions the song expresses tho 😔
@@edienandy No problem :) ! I'm always in search of new informations about maiko & geiko's world, I often ask questions so I'm happy that you answered me. You are totally right when you say : " I think you thought it was called Haru no Hana because those are the first few words of the song, and tbf it’s often the case that the first few words are the title as well." :D Since I have posted this comment I have learned a lot (without wanting to seem pretentious). I was even ashamed when I have seen my mistake ^^; . I noticed that Kyo no Shiki is a dance that is often performed by maiko and geiko (like Gion Kouta). So now I have no problem to recognize it ^^.
@@stefaneko26 yeah the perform them a lot because they’re both about the 4 seasons so they can be performed any time of the year whereas other dances are only performed during certain seasons. Sounds like you’ve been obsessed for a long time, much longer than me actually. It’s fun to keep finding more information. The more I learn the more I want to know ☺️
Does anyone know why they’re dancing 2 different sets or choreography? The first 1 did one version and then the other 2 did a different version that I usually see the maiko dance. Both sets of choreography are by the Inoue School though.
小恵美さんの弾き語りきいたら涙が出るわ😂それぐらい上手い❗️
小恵美さんは祇園で1番の歌い手やと思う。声に迫力があり高低音の出し方が凄い❗️最高
The synced movements of Kyoto geiko never ceases to amaze me... other geisha never seem to get nearly as good as the Kyoto geiko!!
The Akasaka and Hachioji top Geisha are phenomenal.
wow the geiko in the black kimono is very beautiful
Thank you very much
I feel just like the way you feel too.

Super late but this is Kyo no Shiki (京の四季).
@@edienandy Right, thank you for the correction. And it's geiko Sayoko who begins the dance alone.

こちらは先ほどの全部撮ったのものですわね...?
甲部の踊りは特徴が御座いますからすぐ見てわかりますね...踊りともうすより...舞...畳一条で舞える舞...。
シャンソンや二胡が先に催されまして...?
@woi3ocho2jin1
そうです。先ず、仏教讃歌、その中で、二胡があり、続いてシャンソン、最後が祇園甲部でした。
