oh hell yes. Nothing like a Saturday afternoon with some Nempohila. Well to be honest I listen to them everyday haha. one of my fav covers they have done. The kid you see is the Drummers child. She has two children. Also Mayu lead singer had a child back in November. She actually performed at aftershock back last October a month before she gave birth. Yes that is Mayu actually singing in that sweet voice. she can switch back and forth on a whim. Her voice is so cool.
Killer Guitars? That brand was co-founded by Loudness lead guitarist Akira Takasaki and another Japanese guitarist George Azuma about 12 years ago. Loudness is co-founded by Takasaki and is one of Japan's first heavy metal bands that go back to 1981. They are one of the godfathers of J-Metal. They were the first Japanese band & metal band to chart on the U.S. billboard in the mid to late 1980s. They are still active. Nemophila and former Mary's Blood guitarist Saki was already playing a Killer Guitar when she was with Mary's Blood and was approached if she would like to be endorsed by them. Both Takasaki and Saki have collaborated many times so they know each other. As it is very common among many Japanese artists/muscians from different bands with side projects. Saki is endorsed by Killer Guitars and plays the black KG series Spellbind Seven extended range 7-string guitar and a red & gold 7-string Killer Fascist. The guitar you're seeing her play in this video and most of Nemophila's MVs is her own custom signature series, the 7-string Killer KG-Fascinator Seven the Empress (galaxy black petals). This is the black/dark charcoal grey one with flecks of glitter in the finish. Cost around $1900 + a few hundred $ for taxes & shipping from Japan. The Killer Guitars are made by ESP Japan. Saki also owns a few Fender Stratocasters.
Yes; IMO, Tamu has the cutest two daughters. Although, Mayu had a son 6 months ago. I hope I live long enough to hear these children (and students of the worlds greatest) form their own band! MTH has many great songs and was an inspiration for both Tamu (Nemophila) and Akane (Band-Maid). Outstanding band.

I know this is grundge but the guitar player was playing off of chords. There was no scale patterns. Singer had a good voice, drummer was OK. They look very young and I appreciate their passion.
You collect nemopila as your best band,I don't see why because I dont understand what they saying in song lyrics, for me lovebites is the best metal band ,and at least the they're song is written all in English,
Well that’s the beauty of music. We all like different things for different reasons. Having traveled around the world, I fell in love with different languages. I only speak German fluently, but I love music in other languages. For one, I don’t need to know what they say because I usually don’t care much about lyrics. I treat the voice itself like an instrument…so I listen to the tone, cadence, and melody…before I care about the lyrics. So when you listen to music differently, you can understand why something hit people in other ways. Asami has amazing vocal ability…but her style of singing and tone is not something I’m very fond of. LOVE her ability and how she sings in some songs…but others, I’m not a fan of. So far, I’ve loved everything I’ve heard from Nemophila.

The little kid is Tamu´s the drummer. She have 2 kids :) they have appeard in some videos (mostly in the nehind the scenes shots or making of vids)
It's not just how good Mayu is, it's how playful she can be about it...she can swing through different singing styles just like it's nothing.
