Ohtani is absolutely on 🔥 right now, super dialed in. Only other hitter I have seen to go up to the plate and expect a HR was when a juiced up Barry Bonds would go up to bat back in the day. Ohtani is just muscling and willing some of these HR’s out of the Park! Exciting to watch as a Dodger Fan, can’t wait to see when he introduces his Pitching next year as another part of his arsenal.
Regarding the Barry Bonds comment, it is refreshing to see Ohtani actually getting pitched to. Bonds had to be even more locked in because he barely got anything close to hit towarss the end. The Dodgers competiveness, lineup, and the damage Ohtani can do on the bases is helping his cause of the HR front. It's also fun to see the stats being meaningful for a team in the hunt.
HR #52 is the truly crazy one. Think about how hard it is to get around on a baseball that high and inside and STILL drive it 400+ feet like that. He is truly something special.

This season he is now hitting .301 with 53 homeruns, 55 stolen bases (been caught stealing only 4 times) and OBP of .383 and and OPS of 1,023. The Dodgers have 6 games left on the regular season. 3 against the Padres and 3 in Colorado against the Rockies (60-96)
