His voice is incredible, every time I hear him sing I feel a surge throughout my entire body. I am passionate about music but there is no other musician that affects me like this man does. I have always loved this beautiful, bittersweet and SO REAL as far as addiction & feelings off being so VERY lost & ALONE! I was very close to suicide not too long ago, as a result of my own demons...my constant yearning for being treated equally as anybody else, just because I am an addict that doesn't make me better or worse than anyone else. I have been so fortunate to have a "street" family because I really think I would not be here now if they had not been so generous and. despite all the hardships... continue to believe that we will one day be free from all the worst pains. Standing by someone fighting the demon of the bondage of self is hard and heartbreaking. Watching them destroy their spirit. I did this to myself and had a strong support group that pulled me back from hell. It’s powerful to see this side of it. And the mixture of the lyrics, the atmosphere, the dancers, it’s all in such unison and it’s simply beautiful.

I have always loved this beautiful, bittersweet and SO REAL as far as addiction & feelings off being so VERY lost & ALONE! I was very close to suicide not too long ago, as a result of my own demons...my constant yearning for being treated equally as anybody else, just because I am an addict that doesn't make me better or worse than anyone else. I have been so fortunate to have a "street" family because I really think I would not be here now if they had not been so generous and. despite all the hardships... continue to believe that we will one day be free from all the worst pains. Every time I listen to this song... I still cry. Just gotta keep believing!

Thank you Mr Roy for sharing your talent, your hard work and the joy that you give me.... every couple of years i revisit with you and it's always when every level is turning over in my life... a few years ago a 6-year-old scared little girl who's birth mother was found dead started hanging out with me about once a month and we did fun things... at 8 years old her adopted mother dropped her off at my house and never came back.. at 10 years old her dad left for Texas & her grandparents were forced into taking custody of her.. we now spend every weekend together, she is now 14 and happy and smart & kind... and when she feels hopeless and Abandoned and sad I play this for her... so I wanted to tell you thank you for the song and a little different perspective on how you are still affecting and inspiring my life in a great positive matter!

Standing by someone fighting the demon of the bondage of self is hard and heartbreaking. Watching them destroy their spirit. I did this to myself and had a strong support group that pulled me back from hell. It’s powerful to see this side of it. And the mixture of the lyrics, the atmosphere, the dancers, it’s all in such unison and it’s simply beautiful.
