omg i completely forgot to say if you haven’t watched my previous vlogs you won’t even know why i’m having surgery lol.. i had a deviated septum which was obstructing my breathing so i got that sorted out by having a septoplasty that’s why my nose looks the same, it wasn’t cosmetic oops
hope you’re doing well byron! haven’t watched you in a while but you were my absolute favourite youtuber back in 2017 and something tells me i need to start watching again
@@tbhbyron i like it! to me your channel has always been a product of its time and kind of takes on the style of whatever is the trending aesthetic, but despite that you have always seemed authentic to me and let your personality show which is ultimately what makes someone watchable on youtube. i do think weekly vlogs are less popular for the algorithm now than they used to be but you probably have a core audience that returns every time, which is great. plus if your videos have "recurring characters" or a consistent friend group it makes the audience feel more connected i think. i guess your new style involves a lot of talking to the camera in a stream of consciousness style (according to me) but a suggestion to make your videos more dynamic to break up some of the talking bits would be to add little cinematic clips or montages of your day, and go heavy on the editing of those (quick clips, good music, etc). don't explain too much what you're doing there via text or anything, just let the visuals speak for themselves. it naturally breaks the video into sections which makes the personality-based talking parts more interesting as well. stick to your own aesthetic - i love emma chamberlain and maddie dragsbaek, two youtubers that do vlog-style content in totally different aesthetics but do the cinematic montages in their own style a lot, which really makes the videos work in my opinion. sorry this is SOO long but i love observing youtube and creators since i've watched things evolve for 10+ years now, but you asked for feedback and i could not resist 😭
this is the best feed back i could’ve ever asked for, i wasn’t expecting so much detail but i LOVE it. thank you so much for everything you have said i will definitely be taking it on board!! appreciate you!!
Your type of videos are the only ones that I don't have to skip because I'm bored! My adhd brain is so well stimulated by your vlogs ⭐️⭐️⭐️ also hope the recovery is going well!! Sending lots of love
Completely agree with the fact that it's more uncomfortable than painful! I'm 9 weeks post-op and you feel like a completely new person after 2 months when you're fully recovered, off all the medication and nasal drops, and can finally breathe normally! 💪
@@tbhbyron I know what you mean about not being able to fully breathe out. I thought I'd got rid of all the packing in my nose with the saline solution, but some still came out after 6 weeks. You'll feel so much clearer in 2 months x
