    Great grill my wife gave me as a Fathers Day gift yesterday and I used it already awesome man😁😁😁 Wonderful grill for a great price. It really holds the heat so you have to pay attention to your thermal gauge but I’m telling you it’s very convenient. Easy to clean as well!!! For ideas with cleaning after I took out the pan and went dispose the ashes I grab the hose and sprayed it down the whole grille as well then I came back with my yard blower and dried it off inside and out. Within about 10 minutes at most I was done cleaning. The cast Iron grill I took them out sprayed them with the hose then went inside and wash the with a cast iron scrub as if it was a cast iron pot them store it with the the pots only put it on the grill when I use them other than that there stored in the house. With the right maintenance this grill can last a very long time!!!

    Got one for birthday and lovin it. Using a stainless tray for coals that is sold with barbecue accessories. I did cut the handles down somewhat so fits the way I like it. I also use one of those screens under my stainless tray. I think it helps prevent warping from the intense heat I can achieve...700f. Paint peeling doesn't bother me long as it doesn't affect food. Grill works great.

    I’ve had mine for 2 years outside and it is a good grill, the pan will eventually deteriorate. Had a hard time finding the right part, but charbroil sells a pan that can easily be modded to fit this grill. Just had to put a new one in.

      This ones a match but you’ll have to reuse your brackets. Charbroil probably sells brackets if you cross reference the pan to available grills they sell.

    Here in Canada I paid $150 for mine. It's slightly different from yours. $150 for a grill of this size is a bargain in Canada.

    Good video.... A thin layer of sand on the Ash pan works well to protect it.

    Is there a cover for this? I live in Canada and really need to cover it for winter

    • @chenellebrown9839
      @chenellebrown9839 5 років тому +2

      Yes they sell the cover separately. Here in the states it costs 14.99 where I live. I just bought the grill for my husband for Father's day and wanted to make sure I got the cover because like the guy said in South Ga the humidity tears up everything.

    Yummy! Burnt paint! X)

  • @deckape2423
    @deckape2423 6 років тому +9

    I don’t think paint is a good idea. Unless you want you your food tasting like Rustoleum, get a stainless tray.

    • @UrbanWoodsman87
      @UrbanWoodsman87  6 років тому +7

      Deck Ape , the paint is a high heat that withstands over 700' F. And it's on a tray that sits far below the charcoal and always ends up catching the burnt up charcoal. Your at a far greater risk of illness heating food and drink in a microwave on your plastic dishes that still claim to be microwave safe. And don't ever forget that everything is made with something that is known in the state of California to cause cancer. Glad you enjoyed my review and for your concern with my health.

    Just got one but I can't figure out how to get the charcoal grate to move. Any tips?!?

    • @reggie2118
      @reggie2118 5 років тому +1

      Make sure you assembled it correctly when you turn the hand crank it should raise it up and down

    • @michaelcooper4345
      @michaelcooper4345 5 років тому +1

      The 4 bolts on the assembly slide into the slots and the flat part should wind up right in front of the hand crank to raise and lower

    Good video!!!! Thank you. I would like to get some of the small metal baskets to protect the charcoal rack. Can you please tell us where you bought yours? Thank you in advance.

    .......QUESTIONS......What critter would eat the steel brush part of a BBQ brush? Will it survive that? I mean EAT ... steel brush gone...just plastic left.

  • @VladGorodetsky

    How do you clean it?

    • @UrbanWoodsman87
      @UrbanWoodsman87  6 років тому +4

      Vlad Gorodetsky , I take the cast iron off and rinse them off with the hose and use a hard bristled ( not steel) brush to clean that up. After dumping the catch tray I use my shop vac to get all the charcoal powder that's left. Finally wd40 or silicone spray and cleaning rag to wipe it all down.

    How low does ur rack go ??? Are u able to get it low enough where u can add more charcoal while cooking

    • @trishawilliams8977
      @trishawilliams8977 7 років тому

      yes thats what its designed for

    • @UrbanWoodsman87
      @UrbanWoodsman87  7 років тому

      Yes, when adjusting the charcoal rack to it's lowest point the front side "door" opens up level to the rack and you can easily add more charcoal, wood chips (if smoking) etc...

    Boys & Girls, what have we learn by watching this video? Never buy Cheap Azz Grills from Walmart! But a quality grill for true grilling. Thank you✌️👍👌

    • @UrbanWoodsman87
      @UrbanWoodsman87  4 роки тому +31

      A grill that gets the average griller juicy steaks and burgers etc... for 4+ years at a pricetag under $100 is an exceptional value. Yes it's an inexpensive grill not made for the serious "professional" grill master's; anyone with half a brain knows that. The point of the video is that its a solid value and made well enough to do well for a number of years with good care.

    I love this grill, esp grilling cheap azz meats for cheap azz people.
