Seems like a very nice guy who needs time to understand what he'd be taking on if he made a commitment. That's promising. You don't want a guy who commits and later feels like "This is too hard." You need a guy who will consider it carefully, the good and the possible hardships, and *then* makes a commitment......better chance of it lasting.

I'm sure you get, or might get, some DMs from nut-jobs, but keep an open mind, and ask other folks - your Mom for sure, as one - to help filter out the noise and see who the real people are. I'm really happy for you, but watch out, that guy doesn't look genuine and he's avoiding the "liking" questions a lot. A guy who likes you shows it in every way and it's so obvious, he was very careful in avoiding answering it, which is a sign of someone who doesn't want to hurt your feelings. He likes your company, but he's not there to stay. You deserve someone who accepts you completely and isn't afraid to confess that he likes you

Unfortunately you can't say anyone deserves anything really. Saying that would be like saying she deserved to get a disability. Things just happen, no one deserves a good or bad relationship. On the other hand though, I would agree that no one should settle for someone who doesn't truly love them. I genuinely hope she finds someone who will appreciate and love her for who she is.

Oh my God how precious let me tell you I've been married 40 years and I have multiple sclerosis and my husband takes care of me most the time I'm able to do things but sometimes my arms don't work and I and he feeds me you find a man like that girl you grab them

I hope this works out for you but you know what you've come so far and I know you're still young and you probably like to get married and have kids but it's not the end of the world my dear I went to my high school 40th reunion oh yes I'm old I was shocked I came from a class of 400 and about half of them showed up there was about maybe four of us that were still married and I would say 2/3 had never gotten married never had kids and somewhere on their second and third marriage. And they were mostly the women and I said oh you never met anybody or anything she said to me know and never occurred to me I was too busy getting my career. It is a good time in your life to excel in education. And with your experience I could see you working with rehab patients as a counselor that life moves on. I was a nurse for 42 years and I was stricken with multiple sclerosis when I was 50 I'm 60 now. And there's some days I can't walk or use my arms so we're kind of in the same spot here but I still worked I just couldn't drive so I took the disability bus to work and was still able to work with adaptations but my main problem was extreme fatigue I still have it I sleep 15 16 hours a day that's a bummer but I will tell you do what you can for yourself and you seem to be doing that get that education knowledge is power and then you don't have to worry about getting a man they'll be coming after you
