Cool video Paul. Nice group of arrma’s you have there. I m in agreement with you on issues and upgrades. Seems we have had similar experiences with these RC’s. All issues aside I love my arrma’s and I can tell you do too
Nice video mate - Just bought my first Arrma, a V2 infraction (been spending money on Traxxas stuff until now, but arrma stuff just looks better and seems to be better value for money) - Just waiting for some dry weather so I can take it out on it's maiden voyage! Typhon is definitely on my 'to buy' list too :)
👍Nice One dude. Typhon is a top RC. Now how you feel about Traxxas. I felt the same after buying a Rustler. Compare that to what you can get from Arrma for near the same money. I would'nt mind taking my V2 out in the rain, then maybe I wouldnt burn through a set of tyres each run LOL.👍
I bought 2 Kraton 6s for Xmas last year one for me and my son amazing fun,since then I’ve bought the limitless,notorious,talion and for this Xmas we got the 8s kraton and 2 outcasts 8s.Arrma stuff is amazing so much fun can’t wait to run the 8s versions,only problem is my 11 year old son goes full throttle into everything cost me a fortune in parts.
Iv been trying to decide on a new Arrma car. Im looking at the new V5 Typhon and Kraton both 6s. I don't do many jumps or stunts, just like to fly round on pavement, smooth dirt and some grass. I was leaning to the Typhon just because of the better handling and speed on smoother surfaces. But it may stall a bit in the grass I have near me. Which is why I was looking at the Kraton for a little more clearance. But I lose the speed demon and the handling on street. I wish they would drop the V5 Talion 6s!! Seems like a good middle ground. Speed, handling, and can take the grass better. I have heard nothing from Arrma on when that will come out. :( I was hoping before the end of the year so it can be a Christmas present to myself. So I'm back to the Typhon or Kraton. I cant choose! Ugh.
I have heard the Talion EXB is dropping March / February . Your right to worry about long grass. The Kraton is good in many conditions including payment. Good luck in picking whatever you add. Cheers for tuning in and contribution.
@@FullOnRC Oh really? Dang thats a ways out! To wait or not to wait haha. My other idea was to get a Kraton and look for some smoother street tires and maybe drop the ride height (if possible with the stock shocks) for when I run on pavement and put the stock knobby tires back on when I hit the grass. I keep hearing some folks still having issues with the V5 Spektrum radio cutting out passed ~50 feet or so. I was hoping the radio issue was fixed from the v4 that plagued these cars. You have that radio for the Infraction v2 right? Had any issues with it? Thanks for the reply and love all your cars!
@@FalcoINC I know it's a while but it could drop anytime if at all. I think The Talion is a bit of a hit or miss for a lot of people, you either love it or have it. Any of the 6s Trucks are good buys, especially the V5. Even the V4 are good if you change radio. I didnt use stock radio for the Infraction. I set it up with a DX5Pro. Now that is a good radio. I love using it you really feel the difference. I changed all my v4 over to a cheap Flysky that has good responce time but man the range sucks. The New V5 Radio has got to be good though because no one seems to be complaining about it. Let me know what RC you go with. Lowering the Kraton you dont have many options unless you adjust height with droop screws. Never done it so dont know how good it is. My First 6s was the Typhon. Best days when I first took that out. Remember it now. The Typhon always has a place in my garage. Looking forward to getting a EXB typhon and having the old girl as a shelf queen for memories sake. The Typhon is a powerful little buggy, but long grass is sure going to give you problems. But The Typhon or The Kraton, I'd say the Typhon is the stronger RC due to Shorter Wheelbase.

Mine too! Kraton and Talion are almost joint 1st. But the Kraton has got more runs. The Talion is epic for jumping. Thanks for tuning in bud.
