FD ATLANTA PRACTICE AND A BACKWARDS ENTRY IN QUALIFYING!

- Entering the third event of Formula Drift at Road Atlanta, the car was feeling great and we were more than ready to drive. I got some good practice laps and got some decent follow laps. I had there car where I needed it to be for qualifying. I ended up throwing down a 94 on the first lap and then backed it in for a second qualifying lap with a 88. The 94 ended up putting us in 6th for top 32.

As a spectator this is the coolest track. Start in 2nd, row 3rd and 4th, massive speed, engine roaring, bang down into 3rd for the tight right and BWAAAAAAA! back around and up the hill. Most courses they never even have to change gears. This is a riot from beginning to end and even some of the best screw up massively here.

Just so people know Road Atlanta is like 45 minutes away from Atlanta. It's in Braselton, Georgia. I used to live beside it. It was always nice hearing cars in the morning 😊
