I want to do a solo tour of Scotland next year. I have ordered my passport and I need new tires but I am already looking forward to the adventure.

You will not regret it, it is an amazing place! I would love to go to Germany I have the Euro tunnel booked for the end of April next year 👍
Scotland, I've done it a couple of times, living in Durham I'm only 55miles away from the border. If you go to Inverness for the love of God, do not take the dreadful A9, the monotony will live with you forever lol. I've found doing it anti-clockwise to be better, the views just keep getting better and better and better the further you go. Big up the mighty Tracer, I have a 2020 version myself and never felt uncomfortable at any point. I tried to budget for approx 180miles per day, a lot are single track and it does take some time to complete. You can do it comfortably in 3 days plus your home & away rides. Loads of respect for Big Steve Clarke, cracking lad & channel.

It sounds like you know the highlands like the back of your hand, you will have to be my tour guide 😂 how do you find the 2020 tracer for super long rides?
@@baylatronjust finished watching a few more of your vids, pork pies oh yes :) I love my tracer, I've done over 360miles in a day and I was comfortable all the way, never fatigued, padded cycling shorts, cheap as chips and make a huge difference. I used some spacers to lift the front up 8mm, they really help, then I bought another seat and got it modified.
@@BazzaB1971 what a good idea padded shorts! Legend!! The tracer seat can get pretty hard after a few hundred mile 😆
Those opening shots were really good. Scotland is amazing from what I've seen of people doing that route. Germany would also be a great trip. You probably already know about these guys, but AndymanCam and TheLikeableRider both live in Germany and have some great videos in English about their tours. Wherever you go, I bet it will be fantastic.
Thank you Bikegeist for taking the time to comment i do know of them, watching there channels made me want to go to Germany. The shots they get with the insta 360 are amazing and thanks for the feed back I will try my best to make my videos more like the opening shots. 👍
I've done the NC500 twice on the bike. The first time I went up to Inverness for the official 'start point', the A9 is boring as hell and full of speed cameras. The 2nd time, I went up Loch Lomond side, Tyndrum (The Green Welly!) then Glencoe, Fort William and picked up the NC500 there. Done a Euro trip in 2017 too. B500 in Germany is awesome. So are the Swiss alps if u have time. Have wee look at my channel. I've not got a lot on yet, but the euro tour is on there. Gimme a shout if ur up this way in the summer. 😎👍🏴

If you went to Germany drive to the south. You need 6,5h to our Black Forrest (3days there), and then to the Bodensee and to Bavaria to the Alps its better then in the middle of Germany
