I just checked out your eBay store for the first time, it looks really nice. You mentioned in this video that you’re able to sell the nonworking ones as well. That sounds like a win-win. I enjoyed the video a while back where you talked about the advantages of Etsy and eBay. It’ll be interesting to hear how all that is going, kind of like an update. 👍
I do like these ....as a collector for 40 years love seeing all the different brands I know well....never seen anyone get so excited over Timex in my life LOL
Timex men's watches are pretty straight forward. With a few exceptions full size water resistant is a Marlin, Full size without anything else on the dial is a Mercury, smaller water resistant is a Sprite. Then there are 21 Jewel, 100, 400 etc. Self winding are Viscount
Not mineral solvent or alcohol for the Timex. You want to use old style lighter fluid. Zippo or Ronsonol. Make sure you take the hands and dial off first. Leave it in for at least a few hours but over night is best. I put it in baby food jars so that I can cover it up and stop it from evaporating. I put the jar in an ultrasonic cleaner for about 15 minutes then leave it for a few hours. There are a lot of nice Timex there. Some really desirable in the collector community
@@thomasflynn5366 this made my day bro! And for sure he seems to find the real, I've been binging his vids. The thing is, on what planet are people finding watches at thrift stores and Goodwills? I've been to every GW in my area and found nothing lol
@ForestWoodworks where I live Goodwill sends the watches to be sold online and we don't really have any thrift stores. He's in Canada so the prices are Canadian dollars too lol.
Thanks for keeping it moving. You can't please everyone. Your pace was good and if someone wants to see them longer there is a pause button. If they are too lazy to use it then that's on them.
I was was excited watching this from my home in London UK, when I saw ‘Boy London’, hadn’t heard of that name before, or most of them, had heard of: Breitling Caravelle Timex made in GB Hamilton Imperial Pulsar Shouldn’t think they were high end watches, im not into fakes, but to a collector, or to someone who wants parts, then they were a good investment for some.
Yes at least 1/4 are from Europe. I think it’s because our dollar is a lot less than the euro. Also. Many customers tell me, my prices are a lot less then what is charged in Europe

You have some really nice Timex pieces. Their electrics are a little wonky, but they have charm. The Dynabeat runs at a cool 28000 bps!
Wow I didn’t know it ran that high

Thanks I try to be in the middle. People want to see the watches, but not have an hour long video
I have got timex working using brake clean and a tiny amount of spray oil to hopefully leave a very light film of oil when clean.
Ok thanks I sometimes use electrical contact cleaner

Yes they are good watches, some of the Timex watches are very rare
Thanks for watching

With your Timex its the dial that comes from France or England....the movement is Hong Kong.... Taiwan or the like
Right I noticed that after. I had one wear the dial, case and movement was from three different countries
Holy crap, that’s a lot of watches
Thanks
You did awesome
@@ChristopherRichardson-y5z thanks so much
Hey, how i can order this kind of box ?
I would try eBay. There are usually lots for sale
Recently started selling on etsy but most my orders are coming from Europe. Do you get a lot of European orders as well?
Yes at least 1/4 are from Europe. I think it’s because our dollar is a lot less than the euro. Also. Many customers tell me, my prices are a lot less then what is charged in Europe
What number or Numbers are a Marlin?
The catalog numbers. The first four numbers on the watch will be 2014, 2017 or 2024
Please let me know if u are interested in selling non-working watches

I have sold a lot of them, please look on my eBay, I have lots of part watches and lots for sale
why dont you wear a watch or tell us what you;re wearing that day?
Good idea. I film these videos in my house, and when I’m home I never wear a watch. Only when I’m out
Would you please me in a good seller?
@@myheartonyourheart3096 I would look in your area. Shipping is too expensive
