It's a year late. Yet I would like you to know that I was born and brought up in UAE. I did my high school in UAE as well. And we had a compulsory subject to learn called UAE Social Studies from standard 4 to standard 8. Everything is about UAE during those classes. And we sing Eishi Biladi before ending our School Assemblies. No matter what comes, one day we have to leave UAE. Yet, for us Emarat is was and will always remain our motherland as well.. With love, from India
Some of us know better than even locals. We have seen UAE grow as we got old. My father worked for 30 years in government and never went back to home country because he treats UAE as home country. But now we my whole family is looking for opportunities to go abroad and get passport as we cannot live in home country cause we have spent all lifein UAE. May Peace be Upon Shiekh Zayed and pray for UAE and hope we can get some good news and not to leave this country for ever
Hello Brother I m frm INDIA.... I hv never been to DUBAI.... Bt i always see ur video's..... U make very nice video's.... God bless u n ur family always....
Mr iri. I lived in Dubai for 40 odd years. I miss this country. If I was given a choice I would have stayed permanently with my family. It's not the status today. I have seen the sands either side of the road in 1975 till 2019. The same country is today the best tolerant place on earth. So Zayed and Dk Rashid reformed this place into modern miracle. I miss Dubai I miss UAE and it's courteous people
There are people who went to UAE when they were teens and lived all their lives there. Invested all their lifetimes earning into UAE economy. But as he becomes old and advances in age. He is charged with hefty compulsory health insurance premium. Sometimes crossing 100 thousand dirhams for one year. Even if he doesn't want the insurance. Unable to afford... The old man is forced to leave UAE, with all his investments, leaving his wife and children in an uncomfortable situation. The insurance premium for aged investors in Abu Dhabi is so high that many families are unable to afford and are having to leave UAE they believed to be their home. I hope this message of mine reaches the authorities so that they will amend the law and make UAE a better place for old ones who were there with UAE when it was mostly sand. These old folks won't live for long... So please give them a helping hand. Don't force them into troubles when they need retirement. They have helped the UAE economy when they were young.. So they expect a friendly and softer law on them. May God bless UAE and make it the best example for others. Ma Assalam With regards and lots of love.
WOW...that's about $27,224 U.S. That's a lot of money for health insurance. Please, I hope you get this message...help me understand this dynamic a bit more. I am an entrepreneurial spirit... and I think I see opportunity. So who are the people afflicted with is cost? Is it based on the age of the insured, income level, or something else? What services are covered with the insurance? Does the government subsidize any of the cost?

Yeah we people do love UAE and we even spend all our lives here but sadly in return we get nothing and once the job is gone we don't have any option other than going back to our home countries empty handed. My dad came here when he was just 18 back in 70's and I was born here 27 yrs ago in early 90's now last year I gave birth to my son in the same city I was born but unfortunately we aren't able to live here anymore because of the higher cost of living and expenses of basic needs like we can't afford schooling for our child. Just sharing to say that we have been here from generations yet we don't deserve any residence or passport even the gold cards are just for millionaire and billionaires there's nothing for the people who spend their lives everything's for the people who are just spending money unfortunately it shows the mentality of arab rulers that they value money more than lives.
I was born and spent 25 years of my life in dubai but apprntly I had to shift bck to my own country ( duhh visa policies) planing to go there on visit to feel back home.. I hope I dnt face complexity in applying fr one..
Neville Mathew Not gonna lie, I DO see some racism, but “Dubai in general” is not, I would know since I have lived there for a year, as well as living in Abu Dhabi for 16, plus, in Dubai and the UAE, there is no free speech, and the law greatly punishes those who are racist or have hate speech
