Darren Gee knows that abuse a child and the damage vibrates in later years. That's why he's so passionate about the present narrative
Massive respect to Darren we have met a couple of times.
Not just sexual abuse, mental, physical, lack of love etc, lack of attention. All these things are a recipe for your child to get involved with a load of other kids who have one or more of those issues and they together form what the news would call a gang. Then the grooming from older criminals who are always on the look out for recruits. The kids need to hear this message but at the same time so do the parents.

I was from Belfast and went to Liverpool 1998, got into a bit of bother and got sent to Altcourse prison and was on the same wing as Darren. He was sound as fuck to me but I was in the same cell as he done my cell mate in for apparently grassing. I thought there's no messing around with this guy but as I said he was sound to me. We got on. Thank fuck 😂 seen his brother Ste in other wing fighting all the time and Danny was in the Block flooding his cell. Mad family but Darren had his head screwed on compared to his brothers.

I know purple Aki from birkenhead I lived in tramere and purple Aki made himself a name there their are many stories going around about him I grew up hearing the name you see I was into the gym and boxing at a young age one day I was with a few guys and they said run theres Aki so we ran off up these flats he asked a girl to come and get us out or he was coming up? So we went out to him! There was 4 of us and he asked us why did we run so I told him someone said theres purple Aki run so we all ran? I’ve seen aki twice in 2 years loitering around my gym (in streatham, South Ldn). First time seeing him he was outside my gym (at 11pm!) Couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Upon questioning he denied he was aki and I didn’t think twice as the documentary I had seen showed he was from a town outside of London. Fast forward 2 years (last week) I was on my way to the same gym and saw a big black man, the same I had seen 2 years prior, with 2 17-19 year olds. I didn’t hesitate to let these guys know that aki is a nationwide known nonce. I told them that the man stood next to them, who they thought was just another gym goer, was actually a child touching weirdo with a documentary with over 1 million views. Akis responded by saying ‘3 million actually!’ As if he were proud. He followed this with ‘I’m a person like yourself’. Which was quickly corrected as I reminded him that it is he that touches kids and harasses young men. I’ve never met such a peculiar man in my life. He truly is the bogeyman who in my opinion deserves to spend his days in a box.

My ex was a competitive bodybuilder for 20+ years, in Lancashire. He and his friends, who were also into the body building world, would always talk about Purple Aki and his carrier bag. Apparently, Purple Aki would attend bodybuilding shows and always be pestering them, and he'd always be asking to feel the muscles of the body builders at the shows. They seemed to be aware of that Purple Aki had association with dangerous individuals, which is why they tolerated his antics.

We all met up later that night and there was news someone had been electrocuted on the tracks at New Brighton... then we found out it was Gary. Loads of us Testified in court when he got banged up.. then he got released a couple of years later on appeal an got a big pay off.. he’s a figure of fun to the kids today , he fuckin terrorised us when we were young.. the anniversary of that day coming up soon. 15.6.86... burnt into my brain

I first met purple aki in my first year of uni at Manchester in 2013/14, I was 18/19 at the time.
I wasn't even close to massive but I was wearing a well fitted t shirt and with some muscle that's enough to make you stand out among the general population.
I remember I was shopping in the Lidl on the curry mile, I can't remember exactly how the conversation went down but he asked me to flex my arms for him (which even as a naive teenager I thought was weird and I didn't do). When I didn't do it he said that I should be proud of my physique and not be ashamed to show it off (Still not gonna flex for some random man in the middle of fucking Lidl).
He also asked me how much I could squat and when I told him he said that I could probably squat him. He asked me what gym I went to (I went to sugden sports center), said he recognised me from there and described the layout but it was completely wrong.
Also he's definitely very tall but not even close to 7 ft, more like 6"5. There was a bit more of a convo but I don't remember it fully, at the time I didn't think much of it but looking back a bit later it was definitely very strange and it's probably a good thing that back then I met him in a crowded public place instead of alone.

I remember when I was at secondary school back in the 90s hearing the kids talk about someone called purple Aki. I always thought it was a silly school playground joke or something. No idea if it was anything to do with Liverpool or scousers as I don't live there, but im not too far away.

I’m from his city, so I can understand why the dialect is difficult for foreigners to understand. Basically, he’s just talking about a local boogyman called Purple Aki - a 6ft7” 300lbs of muscle Nigerian-British sex offender, obsessed with stopping random boys on the street and asking to feel their muscles + asking them to do exercises for him.
