Sorry my price is not right 😅 I don't have a store and not really doing this primarily. I would charge maybe $100 for my time other shop would take more most likely.
What is the price of the chrome body and how can i get that replaced if my display is perfectly fine and glass is also good just want to change the chrome on the sidea
It's the frame. You can find it online BUT replacing the frame alone is extremely risky for the screen. The chance to break the screen while replacing the frame is too high to even try to change it.
I've had a bit of crack on my s22 ultra for sometime now and recently i can see a visible vertical line from the crack postion. Does this mean that the screen is broken and not just the glass?
Is the new vertical line colorful like green lines or just a line but the screen works fine without any issues. In case of green line or line that is solid color, flickering etc....that's a bad display. If it's just glass cracked and no issues with screen color and it works fine only the glass should be replaced as the display in that case is still good.
Generally S-Pen is not included. You can still use your original S-Pen without any issues. Just pair the S-Pen with the device after screen replacement.
I agree to this comment. Reminding people of risks is always the right approach. To explain myself (first thing I always do is to disconnect the battery cable) from experience and knowledge after you isolate the power source there should not be any risk for shorts. After saying that using a plastic tool is recommended if that suits the need or if that make the person more comfortable 🙂. The only time I got a short was when I forgot back when the A54 was released I forgot to disconnect the battery with my finger or plastic tool then got a spark. After that experience I never forget anymore 😅😂.
@ersbit Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it. I always stay courteous with metal tools just in case there is power or static electricity. Thanks for letting me know🙂
The glass wasn't nearly warm enough. You went way too fast. The surface of glass may be warm to the touch but the heat may not have soaked through to the back side and the glue yet.
Yes. You're right the heat wasn't transferd all the way through. I wanted to do alcohol this time lol on the videos I did heat only the comments were to use alcohol etc...both methods work (being patient is key)
HELP PLEASE!!! S22 ULTRA BROKEN DISPLAY. BOUUGHT NEW DISPLAY( NOT ORIGINAL) EVERYTHING OK EXCEPT TOUCH DONT WORK. THEY SAY HAS DIFFERENT NUMBER OF PINS THAN THE ORIGINAL. CAN I USE THE ORIGINAL PIN CONECTOR AND PUT IT IN NEW DISPLAY? THANK YOU!!
I have sent my S22U 4 times to my technician to repair and he couldn’t get the back glass stick properly, leaving a gap with the frame. And he cracked my original back glass as well without telling me
"The only note to add is that the screen image does not extend to the edges as it does on the original screen, but that does not bother me as long as all other function work". Is that true?
Been thinking of doing this myself but the price of the screen is absolutely insane, im in canadhu and after the exchange rate the price turns out to be 450$ If I get it done in a cell phone repair shop they charge me 450 , they told me they cant give out much of a deal because the part is just so fn expensive And I belive em cause I've tried to buy it myself 😐 The phone is obviously becoming more modular and easier to fix wich is great for swapping out broken parts but be careful of the screen 😭
Yes, Samsung screens seem to become more expensive while older iphones have multiple options (low and high) for screens. Seem like all these Samsung screens are of original quality or pulled from devices which make them very expensive. I totally understand it is most of the time like that...if you buy the parts you have to do the work lol if you give to a shop they will do the work for approximately the same total cost for everything. Hopefully you got a nicer resolution to your issue.
The S pen should work even without tranfering the S-Pen sensor (located at the middle right of the phone. Check the the flex cable for that sensor. If the issue persist you should attach the old S-Pen sensor that was on your broken screen.
@ersbit I swapped the s pen sensor but it's still not working so I fixed everything back to the old screen and frame and the s pen was working perfectly but half of the screen has gone dark that's why I bought the new replacement. I am now confused 😕.
no no the reason you dont use metal when working on electronics is because you can short something if you accidently tip touches any contacts on the internals....

Kind of cool that you showed the failed attempt to remove the back. Respect 🙏. Its not easy and you're showing the real deal.
What would you charge to fix one?
Did it all myself and saved 120.00 otherwise would have taken it to battery plus and let them do it again. :/ Parts were 300.
Congratulations 🙌🏽. Nice to read from you. You tried and you succeeded 👍🏽

All right all right Im ready !!lets do this amazing video!!!
🙌🏽🙌🏽
Did you take it on? How was it?
Is it still water resistant after the repair?
It is complicated. I recommend avoiding water because it depends mostly on the quality of the tape and freshness.

Hi, the fingerprint still works? or you loss that in this repair?
Everything worked perfectly. If I don't mention this or that issue it means I did not experience it.

If line is exactly vertical, that's damage to the display.
What is the price that is spend to repair the device
It's the price of the screen only. I did it myself so I had to get the screen only to fix the phone.
Please hope u in Nigeria? And how much to get this fixed, s23 untra screen
Hi unfortunately I am not in Nigeria. Am in Atlanta USA
With original display S pen is included or not ? Plz reply
Generally S-Pen is not included. You can still use your original S-Pen without any issues. Just pair the S-Pen with the device after screen replacement.
I wouldn't use metal tools on the motherboard as it could short something out

@@ersbit I remember doing a screen replacement, completely fried the screen due to forgetting about unplugging the battery🤣
Agreed with you that why I always write "should" anything can happen even if it had not happened to me it can to someone else hahahha
😆 mistakes are made to learn. People who play perfect just don't show or acknowledge the mistakes they made along the way.
Do we have to reset the phone after a display change because am scared to loose all my stuff 😢
No you don't need to reset anything. It will work right after you're done.
Where can buy the screen part?
I got mine on eBay. Check the links in the description.
Is it true that since it was already repaired, phone will no longer has ip63 ratings and therefor cannot be use during rain or even under water?
@@dormamo6917 would be fine in rain but avoid submersion

aftermarket parts will not extend all the way to the edges and will have a small curve at the edges.
The screen I used was original and everything worked well. Some screens will give the result you have shared.
Those are not good screens!
