Beautiful work as always! I too rented a uhaul cargo van last Saturday to transport my garland and decor. Omg it was the easiest load and unload ever! I will be incorporating the rental into my fee if building onsite is not an option.

I enjoyed this video. Lakeisha, are you able to show how you usually transport balloon garlands in your vehicle? I have an Explorer and my husband a Venza Crossover. I've just made my 1st balloon garland & mini columns for my Godson's 1st bday tomorrow & if I make a garland more than the 10-ft I did today than I want to make sure I transport carefully. I see how renting a van is more convenient. Thanks!

What I desperately need to know is how far in advance can I start blowing up the balloons? I have taken the day off before the event. Oh, also it will be held outside. Help please.

That was absolutely beautiful! I do have a question and my question is, did the home owner have a problem with you putting the thumb tack in her walls as it would leave a tiny hole. Or are most people ok with that?

I don't know where you are located, but rent a van from your local Home Depot and it's only $20 bucks for the first 75-minutes..

You can make the balloon garland a day before the event without any issues of the balloons loosing air?
Yes! I’ve done it up to 4 days early. After my daughters first birthday I kept the garland up just over a month. Of course by then it had lost air but, they last a long time. I also had a client keep hers up in her house for months!!

Suzan Chirinos I suggest bagging them to avoid oxidation which can make the latex ones look dull if you’re going to do them ahead of time.

Thank you for sharing.. But one question tho...... When blowing the regular balloons for example the 12inch balloons... Do u blow it to its capacity?? Because I do know that some of the balloons do give you a different shape whe blown to capacity
Hi Lakeisha.... I so love your work! You make me believe in balloon decor again. But where can I get the REAL transparent clear balloons. I've bought twice and I've got varying colors from a mild cream to some other color that was definitely NOT the ones u used here. And I also the real glittery confetti as well.! Do you have any preference on the brand of confetti balloons? I've read multiple reviews that state that with some, the confetti doesn't stick and distribute as well as others.

That turned out super nice!! I also have a question...with the balloons you added confetti to, did you add hi-float so the confetti would stick to the balloon rather than it dropping to the bottom of the balloon?
no, just rub with a cloth and the confetti will stick .

What are the best balloons for garlands? The one that stay shiny while you work with them? I've worked with some from Amazon and they became foggy looking after working with them.
I haven’t had that issue with the ones that I’ve used on Amazon. I order from them all the time. I have them linked in the description box. My favorite are the qualatex and treasure gifted brand balloons. That’s usually what I try to stick to ordering.

Silly question but how did you actually tack it to the wall did you put the tack in the wall and tie a not with the balloon string or did you the out the tack through the balloon string and wall.
