Ived practiced on these for about a week and the traction the first day was horrible, but as I use them the traction keeps getting better
Man my daughter’s AAU team got these and she’s sliding all over the place. They are terrible, coach about to order some more shoes asap. Any options from adidas with good grip?

Dame 6 is the best one period you will hear the reaction of the grip immediately and they are extremely cheap!!!!

I just got these and I play on a pretty average to below average court. I had no issue with the traction on the first day. Overall performance was great.
what colourway did u get
Its the lubricant they use on the rubber…try washing it with detergent soap…its seems crazy but it works

@@Verzula May Dame 5 and Harden 3 are still working fine as today.
I usually scuff the bottom by shuffling the traction on cement to get that glaze off otherwise it takes weeks to do it on an inside gym.
I think the traction needs time to break in, bc the traction of mine is godly after playing with them for a week
what colourway did you have of the dame 8s, cuss i heard some are differnt
I'm a big guy 6'3", 270 lbs, size 14 shoe and these shoes are perfect to me. I need that cushion.
I really like the look of the Dame 8 I just got the Don issue 3 and I love them. I like how Adidas shoes feel.
Just copped me some black ones for $30 at Ross excited to use these tomorrow.
These fit a full size large, I have a pair of kyrie infinity size 9.5 and these in 8.5. They are exactly the same fit.
I suppose that I have a wide foot. I ordered the following in size 13s: Lebron XX, Lebron NXXt, NB 2 Wxy V3, and the Dame 8. The Dame 8 was the only one that felt 100% comfortable in the toe box area and not overly constraining.
May size in nike is 13, Should i buy 13 also in dame 8?
I have a feeling they'll fix the rubber compound for these to improve the traction
Hopefully I wish they would’ve fixed the traction on the harden vol 5’s
I love the Dame 8s for outdoor use, great cushion and super durable. After about 6 months of wear and tear these slip and slide on dusty indoor courts. Still great for outdoor use and will probably last me another 6 months outdoors. (Any shoe recommendations for shoes with better indoor traction but the same fit as the Dame 8's??? )

Did they run long for you? I have an average foot and I’m worried if it’ll run long for me. (Size 12)
@@giovannicardenas4666 If you have an average foot then go true to size. So a 12 should be just fine.
Maybe the rubber outsole just needs some break in before it grips consistently

i used these indoor my very first time getting them and they had great traction. i used them outdoors a couple of times after and took them back indoor and the traction was even better. idk if it’s because i got a later colorway that came out or what but i have a good time with these.
I’m getting mixed opinions of the traction some people say it’s really good but others say it’s terrible so I don’t know 🤷♂️

@@nirbhaysaini9578 Well im rockig mine, and we play on a really dusty Floor (have sometimes stone in my shoes), and the traction isnt elite but good enought (playing volleyball). I only Slipped ones really hard, when i hitted the ground at a jump off really weird with my heel, but never happened again. Got my shoes now Till 2 months and play 3 Times a week. The cushionong is god tier tho
Curious that other reviewers have said the Dame 8 has excellent traction.
On the first couple days the traction won’t be good u have to break them in to get good traction
I love my Dame 7, but in Adidas world the fits are weird. Make sure to try different sizes!
For me the shoe fits too long, so I had to go half a size down. Sizing with the dames is super important. It went from feeling awful to wear to my favorite shoe.
Why adidas didn’t notice this kind of reviews. They don’t change the concept for the outsoles. I have dame 4 and it’s terrible too for the sideway run test but for forward and backwards test it’s good. I was hoping on the next shoes for dame to change it. But i saw this review again, nothings change for the outsoles. But dame is getting stiffier, and the material getting pretty good for me. My opinion is change the concept of the outsoles any shoes for dame. That’s all 🙂
The 7s had good traction
Stellar review covering all relevant issues i just subscribed and thanks to you they check all the boxes for me for casual use only so but it’s good to know how theirs not like the “and ones” which are for outdoor basketball so. I got it!!!
I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about the traction so I’m pretty sure it was bad for him cus the shoe was a bit big
I played on a very dusty court with these shoes and I had no issues. A few wipes from time to time but its tolerable.

Just ordered these. Love milk nine zoom separates, those are hard to find. I have wide flat feet and hoping these are good fit for me.

My friend told after i use the custom insole for 6months. Go buy for highend insole for more stiff and comfortable
No break in time OK but the toe box is ridiculously long and the fit is narrow and unpleasant for a wide footer. Ordered the Nike Renew Elevate 3 in size 11 and the Dame 8 in size 9.5, size 10 and size 11 and the Renew Elevate 3s being a discount model are still so much more comfortable. They feel simple and firm with great court feeling. The Dame 8s are high off the ground and overly cushioned, to the point it's like you're sinking a bit into them but not in the way that gives you bounce and they are both too long and too narrow unless if maybe your foot is narrow and your toes are fit for a rather sharp toe box. It's too bad because the Dame 8 look super cool at a glance.
Bro.. This review is 🧢🧢🧢. I have these for a month now. These joints are fire. Using outdoor only tho. Traction great. Support great. Materials great. Fit great. Durability great. One of the best hoop shoe in recent years

What about the forefoot cushioning? Do you think these only have good impact protection for the heel or also the forefoot?

Dame is my favorite shoe line
the traction is similar to my Dame 7. When the shoes were new I didn't like how they hold the court either. But after six months they got better! hold even a dusty glade! The worst traction is HARDEN 5 (((
The first time I use Basketball shoes they’re always slippery but after a couple days the traction gets normal u just got to break them in

Gotte be honest this seems cap… i have the same colourway and its been nothing short of amazing, for traction. Ive seen alot of other reviewers love traction as well. Maybe his pair or a few pairs just had bad CC.
You saying facts. Tbh, Whenever he Review An Adidas Bball Shoe, Sometimes He Just Gonna Butcher it, Like saying It Negatively, While on the other Brands, Would go Positive
This isn’t the first time reviewers have reported differently on the same outsole. Namely back when the Kyrie 5 dropped Sole Brothers and Weartesters said the traction kept getting better with use, while Jahronmon has footage of him ice skating across the court in his review. They all tested the same colorway too.
There is no cap what so ever lol. One of the worst shoes I’ve had on the channel he’s right. The traction is absolutely ass fellas my slow motion will show you and I brought along the Reebok solution and it hugged the court compared to these.
Same got the dame 8 and have been playing on a hella dusty court with minimal to no problems

Dame 4s are still a top performer of his signature shoe line.
Sole amazing, cushioning amazing but I don't think the material is durable for outdoor.

Two minutes into this video and it’s a no go for me for these. Most of us who play basketball indoors knows that the court will at some point be dusty so if these are sliding like that, I’m good!
