This is for those people who do not play the guitar and ask themselves: How is this even possible?
The guitar is in open D. When you go up the fretboard, barring all the 6 strings with one finger, you go from D major to D# major, E major, F major, etc - up the scale.
Barry aka Stevie starts on the 5th fret, so the song is in G major. VERY IMPORTANT: Luckily for Stevie, this is a song with no minor chords in it - otherwise the fingerman would have failed.
In the verses the song goes from G (fret 5) to A (7), then to D (0) and C (10) back to G.
In the bridge it goes to Bb (8), then to F (3), then back to G, A, D, and back to G.
Add the genius of Stevie, and you get a cool one finger cover of this 1968 BeeGees song. TRULY AMAZING
