I dually converted and zf6 swapped my f250. It's easier if there's a donor truck but doesn't take much but a lot of manhandling the Trans in and out. I couldn't find the truck I wanted so I built the one I have :)

Yeah 4 low with hubs unlocked and granny low at 3500 rpm is like 2.2 mph with 3.73 rears. You can do burnouts at idle just holding the brake, truck will stand up like a bear from the torque. Overdrive in 4 low at 3500 rpm is 40 mph (same as 2nd gear high range).
Best engine and transmission mating ever. I have an '02 with 3.73's bought new with 255,000 miles on it now and it still pulls like a freight train.

Daniel Warren that is not the same truck that I was pulling that mobile home with in previous videos. I did that with a 2001 f350 4x4 and auto trans.

i got my 3 ton ford truck up and running brfore winter started and am thankful i did or i would have been foce to use a car in the winter time
