It was my buddies and my first time at The Hooch and we had a great time. Awesome group of people to ride with and very helpful to us newbies from RVA. It was great meeting you and chatting. Hope to be back next year!
Another AMAZING video my friend. Sorry that I showed up in overalls this year. lol Great seeing you and all of the guys again - and sooooo glad that we got such awesome riding in. Next year we'll hook up again ( fingers crossed ). SUMO
Still have yet to try one of these GA dual sport rides. Wish there was more of a community in Kennesaw that just went on short weekend rides. At this point in my life I can never seem to plan more than a couple days in the future.
You will enjoy it, this is a popular ride limited to 150 riders. Another great ride is coming up in N GA as well called the Fall Foliage that crosses the GA and NC border. Also covers part of the Smokey Mountain 500 trail. I hear you with the schedule, same on my end. All work and not enough play….
I changed out my stock tires on my KLX 300 early last year and it's made a big difference. Especially in slippery conditions and on loose gravel or dirt climbs. They track and grip much better in mud where my stock tires would give way. I bought these on Rocky Mountain ATV: Front: Shinko MX216 Series Tire 90/100-21 (Fat Tyre) (57R) Tube Type. Rear: Tusk Dsport® Adventure Tire 120/90-18 (65R) Tube Type
The 360 camera gives that illusion because I sit pretty close up to the tank unless I'm just cruising on easy terrain. During the single track, however, while going downhill I was not sitting back far enough to help the back tire better bite into the we GA clay.

Great seeing you SUMO and thanks for the interview!
Another great video Mike!!
Thanks! It was fun. I was looking for you at the event.
Awesome video Ehwaz - next year the Hooch will sell out in minutes because of you!
I'm just videoing my experience and interviewing other participants as well. It's a fun event and there are others in GA and the SE.

17:07 wooooow ouch 🤕
A few bruises but protective gear saved me from harm.
Are you still running the stock 50/50 tires or did you change up to a more aggressive tread pattern? If not how are the stock tires on the trails?

Where was the single track riding that year?
It's called Whissenhunt OHV park in North Georgia. Great easy to moderate level single track.
It looks like you sit really far back on the seat?
