I was watching Cami (Sheep Game) the other day and Lizzie got purple ear tags specifically to put in the ewes ears for the culls that you don't want to keep for next year and put them in as you notice an issue - easier than trying to remember or doing the checks pre the ram going out
I love the fact that you have your father with you and your lucky to get his experience and wisdom. I enjoy watching both of you. Good luck to you both!❤❤❤
Glyn, your farm looks so BEAUTIFUL in the sunshine! Your father and you work so well together, a great team! With being so busy with the lambing, thank you for all your videos. I do enjoy watching and learning from your videos! 😊
Maybe you could call the new tiny lamb “Tinier” 😊
So pleased you got a break in the weather Guys ☀️👍 ❤
Trying to give your old man the squits with that milk? 😂
I am having a disaster outdoor lambing this year in the Highlands Scotland, started on 12th have 10 healthy lambs on the ground, have 5 ewes penned up that lost lambs in the night to hyperthermia/ choked, praying for spare lambs to twin on! And for warmer dryer weather!
It has been a very bad time for all of you farmers. You are not on your own. Also the arable farmers are finding things hard. I hope that things come right soon.
Cammy from the sheep game is the same. Seems its a running theme because of weather all over the UK and Ire.
🙏 Praying the weather will improve for you. Subcu 5% dextrose and a hotbox saved many a hypothermic lamb for me over the years.
Well done with all the adoptions. I think your “tiny the second” is beautiful. I hope he makes it. Yourself and your Dad make a wonderful team. You are both such hard workers. Well done Emily as well, great milking of the new mama. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Welcome back guys!! And happy to bless Sunday morning from Montreal QC Canada and as always beautiful bonded you and your Dad and he is a big Star entertainment awards in the video channel and I really appreciate your efforts and hard work for sharing your beautiful daily lifestyle documentary video channel and as always put a big fat smile on my face watching you guys bonded so well, keep it up and your accent cracks my head and I'm getting used to it, million thanks again and keep it up .. thanks again my friend
Great video as always nice to see the sun
Well done, Boys. You have turned the corner and the weather is looking up. Things will get easier from here.
Great video Glyn as always 👌
Yayyy...more of Tiny II please. The tiny horse!
I had a lamb smaller than that one last year. Cut up a worn out sock for her to wear cause she couldn’t keep warm, and I shouldn’t but I’ve still got her. Cute little parasite. Shaped like a ewe but barely taller than knee high. She will lead my flock anywhere I take her. Pretty funny to see her out front on her little legs. Kept her out of the way of the ram last season but I think this year she’s gonna have to be a roaster.
Great stuff lads , John 'a living mouse is better than a dead elephant ' Glynn we would have problems with turned in eyeslids either gently pull out the botton eye lid and get a few tubes of dry cow teat ointment and treat for a few days , but the best solution is to get Emily to show you how to inject 0.5 ml of penicillin with a very small guage needle into the bottom of the outside eyelid and that will swell it out and cure it , we would get it alot with our beltex lambs.seriously hope weather improves ,were finding it hard to get lambs out in county Derry .
Great video again delighted the weather is starting to get better, those videos would do your hart good first thing in the morning, herd one of the heffers looing in the video.
It’s been a tough start to lambing for sure this year …my heart goes out to you all. Ur doin amazing job and shld feel proud of yourselves ❤
Enjoy your videos 👌
Good informative videp
So happy it’s picking up for ye lads 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Is the cup of tea for the sheep 😊
Great stuff lads and lady. How’s the heifers doing
"I could not stand saucing"
- keep guessing? 😂
Glyn, I wanna come & volunteer for a few days :)
tiny the second - shall we call him T2 - you talked at one stage about covering the Te Pari when you do that are you going to plan for a dual area so it is Te Pari for most of the year and lambing pens in the spring - hopefully you never have such a wet spring again and don't have to use it - never have I heard a farmer say I have to many sheds
morning glen
Hi Glyn and John, Try a bit of salt on the adopted lambs, it gets the ewe to lick them and once she gets the taste it can confuse her to take the adopted lambs
Some milk in them ewes😂😂😂
Hope the weather holds for you.
Once you put them out to good grass do you bother with meal for the ewes or is the grass enough for them to keep condition and feed their lambs? Weather is turning for the good this week finally.
What tea bags do you get there in Kerry? We get some right awful stuff here in the United States sometimes.
Can't agree more. Luckily for nigh onto 80 yr old myself, my daughter keeps me in UK teas. What a joy❣️🤗
Tiny n tinier I’d say Glyn for that wee dude, he’ll be just grand with you boys I’m sure of it, can’t have the commercial head on all the time, too boring. I think yous have it under control now n I’m glad you can try n enjoy a little bit at least, something we often forget to do with the scale of things and the pressure.
Where are the heifers u bought
You're lucky your hand doesn''t cramp up, working on the ringwomb ewe, it's quite the workout. We fix entropion, here, by injecting antibiotic into the eyelid. You likely know this method, but if not I found a video (we don't use lidocaine, just an antibiotic) ua-cam.com/video/2IuDxYJSIDI/v-deo.html
Your voice activated handling system is the envy of most farming operations, I'm sure! Wonderful the weather's on your side for a while.
Fix turned in eyelid's with,, one cc of penstrip into the eyelid at a ninty degree, you have to get someone to help Hold him very tight, its not a big job to get right, and it is a great job,, my vet showed me ten years ago,,All the Best..
Sheep are small just like calves.
That way of shedding never really worked
I have a question for you is breens quarry long side you cousin of mine
Call him mouse
First
World a lambs dieing this year
Glyn. Why cant you show some respect for your father? Did you inherit this farm or are you, yes you Glyn buying it? 😊 Your father was just telling you he didn't understand your sinister voice!!! There is no reason to swear and your videos will be the next ones in trouble with u-tubel
Cow paps make me laugh every time 😂
