I been eyeing the ivory, and I have touched it in store and seriously I don’t mind the leather LOL though it does feel a bit like H&M or Zara fake leather bags. But I love the size and the convenient back pocket. I been buying Polene, Loewe etc. and they seem to put aesthetic first than function. Pockets are rarities.
Yeah there’s something about the leather they used that makes it feel cheap. It does soften overtime but it isn’t as supple as some other brands haha. And yeah nowadays I buy some felt inserts online and add them to my bags for some organisation.
@@Helloviya hi! Mine didn’t get softer at all it’s still as dry as ever😅. And the metal hardware is still getting scratched up. Really disappointed in the quality.
I got the black one for my birthday in March and I was so disappointed by the leather. It definitely felt like plastic and nothing like the pictures online. I returned it and got the Lana 23 instead but I eventually got the denim soft tabby just a few days ago 😅
Omg. Yeah at least you could return your bag haha. I thought I could save money by getting my mum to buy it from a store in the US… but I did feel a soft leather one at the store! I think there are different versions of it. But I think I won’t be getting anything in the Tabby line anymore because the hardware is terrible😭
@@kirshannmarcus could you maybe write down the serial number? I'm looking to buy this bag secondhand (they don't make it anymore unfortunately) and I want to compare to see if I'm potentially buying a crappy leather one 😅
Apparently there are different leathers for it because this one from the US was really rough compared to the SG smooth leather!!! Ooh that’s a toughie. It depends on what outfits you wear! I think if you wear more simple basics a jacquard would be a nice touch but if you tend to wear a lot of patterns then a simple ivory would go better. It’s up to you though!
@@kirshannmarcus oooh i see! do you think it’s glovetanned? so interesting there are 2 types! i am leaning towards the Jacquard since it’s so classic and i don’t have to worry about the leather!
Just get vintage coach😊 the leather is so much better and the hardware is solid brass💕
That’s true!!! I shall be on the hunt for a vintage. Honestly for a lot of brands the vintage stuff is of much better quality
Would love a soft tabby update!!
Hi! Omg thanks for the idea! I shall put that in the schedule!

I just got mine and it really just doesn’t feel like the one in store so soft and slouchy. Did yours end up getting softer?

i thought it only came in smooth leather? is there another version? i can’t decide between the Ivory or the Jacquard!
