Which somehow boiled down to everyone hating them because of how often the TVsaid it. 2. There is only 5 of their songs played on the radio and when those are the 5 songs that people know you for being "pop rock" its not a good look. When any and almost every station is playing your songs even if it isn't in the main genre of that station.

I can relate to the Joy Division one so much. They're one of my favourite bands. Whenever I see someone with a Joy Division t-shirt (mostly Unknown Pleasures album cover) I start talking to them about Joy Division and they haven't got a clue what I'm talking about; and that makes me a sad panda.
