DIY Puncture Repair - which method is best?

Some great new puncture repair methods these days, all very inexpensive on Ebay, Aliexpress etc. Saves the inconvenience of going to the tyre shop. And maintains your original 'matched' in-set tyre.
How many times have you had a tyre shop try to sell you a replacement when you don't really need it?!...stressful!

I have the screw in type but have not tried them. Also have the can of flat repair and air and it works well to get you to a repair shop

I have used both, and also (like you) have a tin of gunk at the ready too. The screw method is so simple that it wins imo, even making a roadside repair possible. The other sticky strip system is actually great too, but is more involved. I carry both with me all the time, and it's incredible just how few people are aware of these things!
