hi everyone, sorry about the title/thumbnail containing slight spoilts on upload - I had something else planned but it never got greenlit so I wanted to still make something today, I was done late in the evening and didn't give as much consideration as I usually do to the title/thumbnail, I usually put a lot of care to not ruin it for anyone else, obviously.. I changed it now, as soon as I woke up and hope it didn't spoil it for too many players, won't happen again either as the situation was one of a kind, apologies again if it did :(

I'm an archer main and I make getting every archer in this game my absolute priority, but I just cannot wish for Chasca without feeling like I'm actually using my money against me (it doesn't even feel like just wasting). There were cases of silly designs like Yelan's were compensated by amazing, not one-note personalities (I was thinking she would be like Yae Miko's trope, but the Chasm quest showed how she's actually a character) and interesting kits (buff that gets bigger over time, exploration running). Chasca simply doesn't hit for half the people I know, and is adored by the other half. I can't bring myself to like her giant immersion-breaking gun (it is MUCH more immersion-breaking than Xilonen's DJ table, there's a lot of people saying Xilonen is the worst offender and, like, don't even start with that), her very saturated red and blues and purples, and her personality might not even be bad but since she was all the time with her sister, comparing their personalities is almost automatic, and Chuychu simply had better personality imo. It feels really shitty that I can't like anything about the character because it's always been my thing to get all archers.

As someone who lost a longtime friend saying their name thinking they are still with us is a genuine reaction and a habit since it was basically your daily life so it never gets easy. I used get embarrassed in school when I would turn to their deck only to remember they are gone. Dude literally brought back old pain and I had just stand there a bit before continuing
Regarding Ancient Name forging, I am pretty sure it is not required for the craftsperson to die but they use their life as a failsafe. They put their life's energy into it and if it were to go wrong (which is more likely when forging an ancient name for an outlander), the completion could kill them. So I guess 99 out of 100 times everything goes smoothly, otherwise this would be the dumbest provedure imaginable

It’s fun to imagine and debate on how he’d look, fun to see everyone’s headcanons, how different everyone’s image of him is. If Genshin revealed it, we’d lose that magic. That sort of thing :]

As a lumine player I didn't even notice it was aether and not lumine on the quest menu. Ig this is this first time they picked aether to be canon in game but they always do it in trailers and demos, maybe thats why i didn't notice it.
