Very nice! Great classic Yamaha bike! I have always enjoyed kick start only bikes. ❤💋 Taming a reluctant bike with a kickstarter is always a challenge 👍😊So much more satisfying than just pushing a button to start up!!
This is not 1989 but 1984-1986 model. At least so it was in european countries... It's a great bike, it has much higher torque in the low rpm than the following models.
I’ve always have liked using a grinder to remove paint especially on exhausts, let’s you know a little better how the metal has held up and if it’s starting to rust out it tends to remove the rusted out spots and shows the thin spots.
just found one in the woods - gonna try to restore it, stoked i found y'alls videos
Appreciate the comment, they are very fun bikes to ride and work on. Planning on a new video should be coming out soon

The tittle for the bike says 89 but now you got me curious were the 89 bikes in Europe a different design?
@@Adrenaline-Junkiez Just check the serial number in the frame. E.g.: if 43F it's 84-85-86, if 2KF or 2NF it's 1989.
Fuck yea
You should really curve your language, vocabulary is everything!
Adjust the decompression.
At TDC the play at the valve lever must be 2mm
Any reason you didn’t use paint stripper instead of grinding everything?

First recommendation... Drop the fowl language, it doesn't help the content of the presentation.
I am looking forward to following your progress. That's a good project!
New video coming soon
