a4 is phonetically written so the meaning could be 'a shimmering heat haze' or a mayfly but definitely not 'beat it'. considering the previous track is about cold pattern, i guess the former.
edit - after listening to the track, i think the ambiguity is intentional. the track evokes flies in the summer
