I've known this song for the better part of a decade probably, it is amazing, as is the scene in which it takes place. Lufia II was a masterpiece of a game.
Well done. Some added insight here - when we originally played this 20+ years ago, reaching towards this point in the game, we had an idea what to expect - as this "ending" area of Lufia 2 was the intro to Lufia 1. However the way it fully played out, at the point in which this music starts, we're into an area of the story that wasn't told in the Lufia 1 intro... that along with this music made the scene *very* epic!
@@daves6554 The additional section at the end of 2 retroactively makes the prologue of FoD feel even more like a retelling of an old story than the overly formal dialogue already did. After all, the prologue of FoD covers up through where Artea warps himself and Guy out. Even if it wasn't intentional at the time, it works out really well like that.
I'm really curious, how many of you know this song. I didn't know it and a friend showed it to me. I just had to remake it!

Lufia is name I hear every so often but have yet to play. Like right now!

I played this game on a whim back on GBA. I'm glad I do. This and CIMA the promised land were unexpected gems.
Amazing...one of the best renditions of this theme I've ever heard. That choir adds so much to it... Would you consider also redoing "The Last Duel"?
I've put it on my list :)
@@lohweo Thank you! :D
I remember it! Great game!! Did a nice job on the remake!
This is a great rendition of an underrated track. Maxim would be proud.
wonderful.
I'd like this, but with removed chorus.
Didn't knew it but, after listening to the original and this, you've done a GREAT job! Well done!
Adding the vocals was a nice touch, but they're a little overpowering.
