Just feed the boy later and more, then go to bed as soon as he nods off. Seriously. And if he takes a night bottle, put a scoop or two of his cereal in it. He'll sleep if he isn't hungry. ....and no, he won't get fat! My son thrived on that method, and at 28 now, he's 6' 5" tall and a solid muscle 245 pounds.
