It always amazes me how much colour sounds nylon string guitars have. Purely acoustic. No battery of effects, amps, electronics. Just you. And your guitar.
Dear Scott, is a real pleasure to have met you here in UA-cam. Your tutorial and educational videos are the best. I've been playing guitar for about 4 years and lately starting with flamenco. It's been a game changer in the feeling of how I feel and create music. In just a couple of days your videos have helped me a lot in this, difficult- frustrating yet rewarding world of flamenco 🎉 Thank you so much. Namaste
Thanks so much scot, i have just been venturing into this area of Furruca with Raseudo and you have helped me clear up a few things, rythum i feel is an essential component to adapting to this style and its many forms. And you've been great in helping me understand that, here in Ireland everything is mostly traditional Cèile music which has its attractions and is nice but there isn't much in the way of spanish guitar music unless you pay for private tuition. I make note of the lessons you teach and you also broaden my understanding of the music table, so, thank you so much for your time and energy.
Grande Maestro ❤ I love it how you structure your lesson so one can start from beginner level and advance once you memorize and practice the section...truly thankful what I can learn from you😊 the pace and quick fingering details how you present them are on spot for me. Can always rewind a few seconds. Pause, practice, then it clicks

Presented in a well paced, clear and understandable fashion. I will qualify the “understandable” and say it would be helpful to have some previous exposure to Flamenco. All in all a really nice lesson.
Pretty much for the last 3 months I've been working on the Farruca in Em without any previous experience with picado, and very little rasgueado. The arrastre was just a really nice bonus treat. Now I can move up to some other things. This is a very rich and full video...thx!
Everything to do with guitar , i am into flamenco , blues & funk , would like some buleria & tangos falsettas . Your tutorial is easy to follow and you make things very interesting , much appreciated.
Thanks, i’m trying to put out of new video every week… Tangos is coming up! have you seen my solea and Alegrías videos? ua-cam.com/play/PLYo3-MH8UjkLFBCu6Gso6H6aWgaPJWAX7.html

Thanks for asking.. the best way to work with me would be by becoming a member of my online program where I have all my courses, tutorials, tabs that I’m constantly adding to. this is where i interact with my members I rarely have time for private lessons these days, but when I do have time for one one one realtime lessons i offer those to my members.. www.theversatileguitarist.com/membership
This kind of music has fascinated me since childhood. My neurons start going at the speed of light. Making improvisation so easy, so natural Now, I've found a good teacher... Will work hard on technique... Which, I have sadly, been neglectful. Excellent tutorial. Thank you!
Very good recordings …. What do you use ?? A Neumann ? Stereo recording? Loving this channel, you are a awesome guitarist even if you don’t look very Spanish to me 😊
Por favor. Podrías poner subtítulos en español donde no oculte la guitarra o la tabulación. Muchas gracias por tus vídeos aún así te seguiré viendo. Muchas gracias de nuevo
I like that guitar. Were the strings new when this (cool) video was recorded? I actually use a Raimundo Thu Le signature which doesn’t sound at all like the classical guitar its supposed to be, but it is distinctive and closer to the Flamenco sound than a Flamenco (study) guitar I have from the same luthier. So I am looking for a reasonably good one. Yeah that one sounds perfect.
It is a rare occasion that my strings are new, so I’m going to say that no they weren’t new in this video… I’m playing a flamenco Blanca guitar made in Granada
@@TheVersatileGuitarist I ended up ordering a Juan Hernandez from Esteve’s workshop here in Valencia, a beautiful white flamenca pro level and I am going to pick it up to tomorrow from Alberto (the son) in Alboraya, can barely wait (2 months to hand craft, got to choose the woods).

just an aside, but is your clip-on mic picking up and carrying both your voice and guitar?
I have a lapel mic for my voice and another microphone for the guitar but there is inevitable bleed between them

The subtitle running right front of your guitar that s why we can't see your hands.
Turn them off!

Argentine tango? Poor Uruguayans get so little credit. The farruca is Portuguese 😂😂😂
