For those who are so confident that the 9d8d was an easy call. His bounty is approx. worth 7-9k in chips. So I need around 32-33% in Equity and with 9d8d against a reasonable shoving range I have around 31-32% Equity. Just because I have a lot of chips doesn't mean I can gamble and have to make -EV calls.
its sick how you know this stuff on the spot in real time with money pressure on and people running calculators in youtube comments are getting it wrong

It's not horrible but to me it's closer than Ben initially thinks given that he is close to chip lead and can afford to gamble. ]His logic is right--oftentimes we show up against other stronger diamond draws and are completely dead. That being said, not sure if villain's range contains enough diamond draws to justify the quick fold. Ben is a much better player than either of us, though; he is probably right :P
@@freekong4733 good thinking, bro. I agree with all of it, but still it was a tiny stack and it was a bounty to be won and that guy could shove a lot of hands other than diamond draw cause he was short

Obv your a pro, but im confused if we open 89 dd utg +1 and we get two callers with 10bb and less and we flop a fd i mean how are we not check calling there. if we dont flop a straight , 2p we fold ? that blew my mind tbh, and theres a bounty also
because we face an almost overbvet all in? Checked pin comment for explanation. Just because you openraise a certain hand and you flop a draw or a pair doesn't mean you can call all ins against all different sizings. You need to reevaluate the action on the Flop.
15x the buyin for a win doesn’t seem that great playing against the upper end of the talent pool. I wonder what’s the highest level to play in comparison to the weakest field.
Ey Ben in the first hand where you the big blind or did you actually call or open the hand, If you did then why fold when the flop is what you'd want with that hand...

That's not counting reverse implied odds against better flushes. Seems fine Ben
@@lottoking7777 89dd vs Ax on AT4dd has 39%, meanning in his math he added some of the better flushes.

Well played . Do these high rollers are just like sngs nowadays??
