    For those who are so confident that the 9d8d was an easy call. His bounty is approx. worth 7-9k in chips.
    So I need around 32-33% in Equity and with 9d8d against a reasonable shoving range I have around 31-32% Equity. Just because I have a lot of chips doesn't mean I can gamble and have to make -EV calls.

      @@RaiseYourEdge Not really even kind Ben, although I mean everything I say with kindness in my heart and soul. However it’s just the truth, ‘Raise your Edge’ is a great name for your Brand. Because that’s what you do, you find those slights, those nuances, idiosyncratic points that the other pros, even top tier players don’t seem to find, manipulate and exploit the way you do. So it’s the very essence of your Brand. Those ‘edges’ and situations that you discover and disclose, Your directly giving to others invaluable lessons about those ‘out of the box’ nuances, which are irreplaceable Ben. Other people offering coaching and content etc, are obviously invariably going to make people better players, but I wouldn’t say many if any would enable a player from all levels of ability to spot these situations, these exploitable variables of the game and game trees, the obscure if you like focus areas in which you garner information which can allow more informed decision making and therefore actions, that will lead to higher percentage accuracy over the sometimes millions of hands a player may contend with during a career. You know as well as any that small edges over Large samples add up to the difference between earning well or earning better. I would say however that from what I see although I am aware your product/brand/service broadcasts to the overall arena of the wonderful complex game of poker, however IMO the players in the top 10 to 20 percentile regarding skill sets, are most likely to increase win rate from this , as they are already able to operate at a certain level on auto pilot, which allows this level player to engage with your fringe reasoning, for example with your set of Aces on the 4 spade board, river brings 4th spade, monotone flop. Most players are just snap auto folding this river to a shove. Where as your deeper thought process and analysis of the situation and degree of reasoning allowed you to arrive at ‘Fold’ but via a more thorough route of thought. Anyway I have just babbled on, you get the picture lol, sometimes when it comes to poker I get really engaged and could go on and on forever . Sorry about the novel lol, have a great weekend pal.
      Also with you, not putting any other streamers or top players down, as most of them are all nice guys etc, but I feel and think most would agree you have a natural vibe of approachability to you. Like your just easy going nice friendly clever AF guy who is worth investing in for people, even if it’s just as a friend, like people close to you probably value your friendship immensely. That level of respect has come from your amazing work ethic, and I’m sure some good Karma along the way. Peace

    • @freekong4733
      @freekong4733 Рік тому +1

      It's not horrible but to me it's closer than Ben initially thinks given that he is close to chip lead and can afford to gamble. ]His logic is right--oftentimes we show up against other stronger diamond draws and are completely dead. That being said, not sure if villain's range contains enough diamond draws to justify the quick fold. Ben is a much better player than either of us, though; he is probably right :P

      Checked pin comment for explanation. Just because you openraise a certain hand and you flop a draw or a pair doesn't mean you can call all ins against all different sizings. You need to reevaluate the action on the Flop.
