Great performance. It sounds like a live vocal. Interesting that she turned down, I assume, the role of Guenevere in Camelot. In 1983, she recorded her Stages album instead and this turned out to be a smash hit at the time. It was clearly a better decision to make the album, as it reached a wider, more mainstream audience. I’m not sure she had the right type of voice for Camelot anyway. I can’t imagine her doing those songs at all. I wonder who ended up playing Guenevere in that production?
